Rajeev Khandelwal, who won the hearts of audiences and critics with his performance in the film Aamir, is all set to walk down the aisle. The actor, who was earlier dating Kahin To Hoga co-star Aamna Shariff, is planning to get married to his girlfriend of two years, Manjiri Kamtikar, by the end of this year.
Rajeev met Manjiri, an employee at an ad agency, through a common friend and has no qualms about confirming the news. "Yes, I am in a relationship with Manjiri since the last two years. We love each other and I would not like to deny the fact merely because I want to hide the relationship," says Rajeev.
Rumour has it that Rajeev's parents are anxious to see their son tie the knot. Rajeev says, "While they are keen, they are not forcing me to get married. My parents are keen to see me married because I guess it is a feeling that every parent possesses."
Ask him what is that one thing he likes about Manjiri and Rajeev lists not one, but many qualities that he admires in his lady love. "Manjiri is gracious, beautiful, yet very simple. She is an independent woman who knows how to respect others' feelings. She is not proud but will never deviate from what she feels is right," says the actor.
Talking about the venue for the wedding, the actor says, "While the wedding venue has not yet been decided it could either be in Delhi or Jaipur."
