Bride older than Groom

While we see that last decade or so has proved that people are open and acceptable to a age gap of 5-6 yrs between couple, do you agree with the concept of bride being older to the groom? There are many successful leading couples who fall in this category, eg: Sachin-Anjali, Aishwarya-Abhishek etc.,

What are your thoughts? Name the couples.

I think that this is a very very healthy trend. It shows that men are acting maturely and reasonably in their choice of a life partner. Though their partners are 5-6 years older than them, they realize that older or otherwise, this is the woman they can be happy with.

I would like to mention Archana Puran Singh- Parmeet Sethi as an example for this "bride older than groom" category.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher are another example - and their age difference is pretty significant

when they initially got together, the cynic in me thought it was unlikely to last beyond a couple of years

but they still look madly in love and demi looks better than she ever has

so kudos to them!

I don't know.. if you are happy with the person then age doesn't matter.. but I do find it a bit weird sometimes.. specially when the girl physically looks older than the guy
