Sweet Talk with Dia
Dia Mirza is promoting her upcoming film Hum, Tum Aur Ghost. It's an Arshad Warsi home production (also starring him) and a lot of rumour bees were buzzing during the shooting of this film.
Dia has a very sweet face but hasn't quite been able to crack the top rung in Bollywood. She said she's fine with that: "I don't believe in competition. I am here to do my work and I am doing it. I don't choose scripts randomly. I do a few films but each of them remains in my fan's heart. My last film Acid Factory didn't do that well but people liked my character and action stunts and that's what matters to me."
Of Hum,Tum Aur Ghost she said: "It's a lovely film and one of the most enjoyable ones I have ever done. It's a comedy starring Boman Irani, who is a seriously talented actor."
She says the mood on the sets during the shoots was also light. Of the rumours of her having a scene with Arshad Warsi, she says: "See today, whenever a movie is released, people usually link the stars. But he's a married man and we're just co-stars."
Dia has other films pending but only this one is being released for now. "Hum, Tum Aur Ghost will release next month. The other films I have lined up are Aankh Micholi and Bits and Pieces but it has not yet started shooting. Then there is Johny Mastana, which I am very excited about. Once I start shooting you will come to know," adds Dia.
