Bhangra! The pride being a Punjabi!

Terrance ki toli did the bhangra performance (shakti n jack) today....it was a well attempted performance...and since being a punjabi and being in a bhangra team i wanted to actually show what great effort it takes to learn and come clean in your moves...im not dissing their performance bt showing the actual bhangra and its level that they could have achieved since this is the first time they tired bhangra in DID 2.... here is the link to one of the teams performing in california's bhangra competition!

It would have been easier if there were more people... even 3
With two they couldnt do alot of the lifts and stuff
Im sorry I dont know what theyre called but when one person hitches another onto their shoulders, and a third hooks into the seconds feet...

in shakti-jack's performance i personally liked shakti's performance, her energy level and she was def better than jack ....

and I m glad Terence also choose Bhangra for indian dances special, this is also a Dance form and a grt one,

^^Yes, I also felt Shakti was much better than Jack.

Shakti was stronger than Jack but I felt Jack did fine. He kept up and was pretty good for someone who has never performed bhangra before.

Yup..Shakti was better than Jack..

Shakti was good in terms of energy however in terms of clarity jack was awesome... :)
Being bhangra dancer myself I did agree with whatever geeta said.. and the fact tht energy should have been higher! but first attempt to dance bhangra for both of them was well done!

i have to say i am also punjabi and that had to be one of the worst\

punjabi style dances i have ever seen in my life 😛

But you cannot compare a duet with the performance of a group of 14 dancers! Plus these people would have been practicing for weeks and months for this act, whereas Shakti and Jack had just one week, and in that one week, Shakti had to learn three acts (two duets and one solo) and Jack had to learn two acts (one solo and one duet). It also strains a lot of energy from them plus the amount of stress and pressure would be a lot. Despite all that, both did a good job as the first time Bhangra dancers, and Shakti did better than Jack. If this was the only duet she had to do, I am sure she would have achieved perfection.
