Rahul Mahajan's Swayamvar: Another Tomfoolery?

One fine morning, when I was on my way to work, I saw a few people in Bus, talking about 'Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega'. Frankly speaking, I didn't know much about this program then. Only I knew that there is "Rakhi ka Swayamvar-2", and the idiotic Rahul Mahajan as the groom now. But I didn't know that it has become so famous that people have started discussing about it.
Then I managed to catch a few glimpses of this program, and found that Mahajan is still an idiot (he still laughs like Champu aka Akshay Kumar in 'Janeman'), but this time a lucky idiot. He was romancing with plenty of girls, and everyone was just dying to be a proud Mrs.Mahajan . I was surprised because I thought which girl would like to marry him. Especially when everyone knows a lot of 'not so positive things' about him! Also, TOI reported yesterday that one of the contestants Nikunj Mallik has spilled the beans about his behavior on the sets, and it was not so good. So it is clear that the girls have seen his true nature, but still they were ready to get hitched with him. That's really strange. You might not agree with me, but I have a few reasons behind this 'Rahul-bashing'. Just keep reading.
Drug laden past: Once he was found unconscious in his bath tub, and later it was revealed that he has taken an overdose of drugs. That too within days of his father PramodMahajan 's death. In spite of this, girls have lined up to marry him. Well, you can say 'that was past!'. If someone had drug addiction, then it doesn't mean that he will never change. Take Barack Obama for example! Yes, that is true, but let me tell you, you don't want me to compare Rahul with Obama.
Wife beater: As we all know, its Rahul's second marriage. Previously he was married to an air hostess with whom he had a courtship of more that 9 years, and within months she divorced him. Reason? He used to abuse and beat her. But any of the girls in that show ever cared about that? As TOI reported, and I quote, "how any self-respecting woman would want to commit to a man who ideally should be committed himself to an asylum, preferably." Feeling is mutual here.
Flirt: He is a big flirt. We have seen him flirting with Monica Bedi, Diana Haden, and Payal Rohatgi in past. He was very touchy-touchy with them. Here also, he was too touchy with Dimpi.
Infact there are few insiders who have revealed a lot of things about Rahul and this show. Roadies 5.0 winner Ashutosh Kaushik has said in an interview with TOI "The show is strictly business and well-scripted. All these girls have come here after fighting with their boyfriends. Priyadarshni, for one, is a big drama queen and it's all 'natak' or drama that she went to the BJP office just to meet RahulMahajan." "Nikunj is a sensible girl and knows how to deal with,"
Well, it is another business strategy for sure. He might be going on Honeymoon, but whether he will remain hitched to her (or vice versa) is still in doldrums. And the reason behind all those girls flocking on him is money and fame. Almost all the girls are from showbiz industry, and it is a great platform to get noticed. Nevertheless, Rahul was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, so this might also be a reason.
