Nick Jonas Celebrates Birthday with Camp Rock Cast

Nick dished to People mag about what his family got him for his special day. He shared, ""It's actually the piano I wrote 'A Little Bit Longer' on. It's definitely got a special meaning for me. I originally wanted to get a plaque just to put on the piano when I got there saying that I wrote the song on, but the family just decided to get it for me."
He also got a ping-pong table! Producer Alan Sacks shared, "Nick is a sports fanatic and what he loves to do on tour besides Wiffle Ball, and softball is ping-pong. He's a ping-pong whiz!"

Asked about how he feels to be 17 years old, Nick told People, "It's exciting. I feel 24 hours different than when I was 16." As for his tight schedule that forced him to celebrate his special day with simple bash, the younger brother of Kevin Jonas and Joe Jonas claimed, "I tend to keep things low key for my birthdays in general." He then added, "It's so much attention that it can be a bit overwhelming. But it's nice when people do things to celebrate. I have tonight off and I think we have something planned. We'll see how it roles out."
Though he did not celebrate his birthday with an extravagant party, Nick was still presented with gifts, including a piano from his family. "It's actually the piano I wrote 'A Little Bit Longer' on. It's definitely got a special meaning for me. I originally wanted to get a plaque just to put on the piano when I got there saying that I wrote the song on, but the family just decided to get it for me," Nick talked about the musical instrument he got.
Nick then continued explaining about what he is going to do with the piano, which was originally located at a hotel in Halliburton, Ontario, the filming location of "Camp Rock". "I think I'm going to put it in our office where our management team works. So that will be nice. It's a nice piece of memorabilia with lots of meaning," he stated.
Beside the piano, Nick also got a Kettler ping-pong table from the film's production team. After he was presented with the ping-pong table, the member of Jonas Brothers could not wait to use his second gift. Spending his 17th birthday on Wednesday, September 16 working on "Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam", Nick Jonas received a Kettler ping-pong table from the film's crew and cast.
