This show highlights the poverty in the Northern parts of India, which still prevails in remote areas of the country. Agle Janam... is the story of Laali, an innocent teen who is sold off by her parents due to lack of money.

Agle is a good show that shows the issues women face in the villiages.
It is a start, but there needs to be more shows that focus on women.
It is happening slowly...😛

AJMBH is really a nice show that shows what is really happening because of not having enough money parents have to sold their daughter nd other thing and really shows how the women are facing these kind of issues.....its really great show....

some of the shows which do evolve around women make them seem so stupid though and weak, you can see this in agla, for example when someone puts laali down and yells at her she just looks at them with the frightened face. she keeps her eyes down like she is weak or shameful.
i don't like that. why can't she be shown as yelling back? with guys they never do that because they always come across as tough people.

yes laali is strong then a lot of other women in storylines, but at the same time she is made to look helpless and stupid.
