Shahid Kapoor is really wooing Deepika Padukone

Shahid Kapoor, who is turning 29 this Thursday will be having a special friend at his birthday party this year which was secretly planned by director Siddharth Malhotra.

According to the buzz, the director who has been Kapoor's pal since Vivaah days finalised the guestlist with the help of Mubina Rattonsey. But when Shasha learnt about this surprise party, he requested the director to add one name to the list -- Deepika Padukone.

Shahid and Deepika are apparently trying to get over their respective heartbreaks as they seem to be looking for comfort in each other.

A source reveals, "Shahid wants his birthday bash to be huge. He has had a good year and is in the mood to celebrate. Also, he wants to make it like a power event with the who's who of the industry attending."

Although they are not working on any film together, as of now, Shahid and Deepika are apparently very fond of each other. They met at a private party, and instantly clicked.

A source says, "Shahid is really wooing her, and she is loving the attention. But one doesn't know how serious they are about each other at the moment.They are constantly on the phone with each other. There is a possibility that they will sign a film soon."

And it's not like our filmmakers are ignoring this new affair. "One of Shahid's close friend is trying to work on the project. Deepika and Shahid are vaguely aware of the project and are definitely keen on working together since both of them are in-demand, " says a source.
