Does it really impact the votes or, do the audience vote for the most deserving performers irrespective of the judges' comments? What do ya'll think?

Sometimes... But mostly viewers vote for their "chosen" favorite... For some people, their favorite will remain the same while for some others, it changes every week or every couple of weeks based on the performances or personalities... But the common trend is to have a couple of favorites from the beginning and support them till the end - either until the finale if they reach there or until they are eliminated... Then if the contestants get eliminated, these people may or may not pick another one to support... Some people just stop following the show once their favorite is out... Some continue if they have someone else to support for... Human nature is very unpredictable!!! 😆

Yes I think the judges comment does affect the voting in a way and maybe to a certain section of people. If you know who danced good and what was the motive behind the judges to say it, then we vote smartly. But it also happens that if the same question is bombarded repeatedly for a contestant then sometimes we too begin to question and that might affect the voting for that contestant.

I think to a certain extent it does. If people just watch this program to enjoy the dance and do not have any favourites, then they will be the ones who will vote based on what the judges have said.
But if viewers have a favourite, then they obviously will vote for them no matter how well or how bad they have performed.

Hi,

I am agree with you and this becomes most confusing situation to handle so, it thus affects the voting too.

Thanks

I think it always does to a certain extent in these types of shows. That's why you come to a stage where these jugdes get so protective of their students. I think it did affect the votes last year. Can you find another reason for Jai being the 3rd runner up otherwise? Just unimaginable!

I think the audience is smart at the end of the day, they would vote for the ones who deserve it. Of course, a high percentage would stick to their favourite from first to last episode, but I am taking my example itself, I would vote for different person each week depending on who deserves and who does not!

Now on whether the show is pre-planned or rigged, that's an altogether complex issue of another sort totally!

judges always try to promote their favorites. Same is with a few here, specially Dharmesh Sir including Dada promoting him. He did not dance well to deserve to be back

Well.. I sort of do not think that judges comments do have much of an impact on the voting system people follow.. If there was a good impact of the judges on the public.. then I guess the result of last season's winner would have been completely different !! There would be Mayuresh in the top 4, atleast and Jai would have been the winner of the title.. And as far as I remember, Jai and Mayuresh were always..I'm repeating.. ALWAYS given verry good comments.. there wasn't a week when their performance was mediocre..
Many deserving dancers have been eliminated over the not-sooo.. deserving ones..đŸ˜”
At times the judges - Geeta Ma.. are over-dramatic 'bout her own dancer.. which really does have an impact.. I mean, she cried a lot of times.. not that Siddesh didn't shouldn't have been in the top 4 !!! But I feel that the talented and the one who performes well is always given good comments.. c'mon ! public atleast is not blind that they would even tell stuff against the fabulous performers..! 😆 And the harsh comments and the shamming of the judges doesn't prevail for long.. tht's what I believe.. 😊
Like above said.. I believe people to be sticking to their favorites from the very start.. and the sensible crowd would always vote for the deserving.. purely based on their performance the week before.. 😊
Overall, I'm confused regarding this issue.. 😕 It's like 75% of the comments do not affect the voting systems.. 25% does affect.. according to me.. 😊

@bold -- YES, rigged votes!!! Do you believe he was really 4th in vote counts?? He was #1 the week before, and since TKT had two contestants, the votes were split between Alisha and Jai - from TL fans. But that split was there before too, and all of a sudden Jai is in the bottom - is it mere coincidence or something else?? 😉

@underlined -- you do?? I have a bunch of picks and I will vote for a few of them if not all.. Of course, they all are great dancers, so I dont have to regret it... 😃
