guys..................i was never a supporter of wife touching hubbys feet.ritual.....i was very much against it....................

but 2day when ridz touched sids feet.............
the scene looked ethereal to me...............

uffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff........................that was my reaction

i found the feet touching scene to b soooooooooooooooo divine that just for this day..................i m ready to say this ritual to b justified.................

since i m not that good with words................here r some awesome writing regarding the scene

touching of Sid's feet meant respecting him as her husband and acknowledging his place and presence in her life.

Riddhima touching Sid's feet sealed her sworn and decided devotion to Sid as his wife and I think that it was beautiful.

i loved how Sid stood behind, giving her space, and also then Ridz giving him the respect when she touches his feet and them walking away with Sid's arm behind her

That scene was indeed beautiful. Im not much of touching hubby feet either however that scene symbolized the respect Ridhima has developed for Sid and how she has decided to melt the unrequired hatred she has held in her heart and try to understand him. <3

I was in my car when I watched this episode!! Lol (I was locked out- had forgotten my house keys- yes stupid and my fault I know!haha Had to wait till somebody arrived before I could get in! Uff honestly!! So basically I jammed in my car for an hour or so... Thank goodness my car smells nice!)

anyway back to the topic at hand... I knoooooowwww!!! Sooooo darn cute!! About time Ridz showed him respect after all she put him through! Honestly this is going to be something to watch!! I hope it does turn into a Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam type thing!!
The scene was wonderful... Ok a tad bit OTT- but when isn't it?! Lol still loved how they both did so well! Hai hai... Sooo sweeeeettt!! Lol

whole marriage sequence was very nice ,beautiful song selection ,this song show us the story of ritz ,sid acting was awesome ,i must say the whole episode was very good must watch episode ,i m happy for siddhma ,jenny was superb us ko rota dekh k mujhay rona agya.kw n jw ki jitni tareef karay kam hay .

The feet touching was so touching in the sense she gave him respect as her husband and she as his wife now, and is devoted to him esp after letting Armaan go

This is one of her many first steps into marriage and moving forward with Sid

Even though it was a touching scene, I did NOT like it. I am a staunch Siddhima lover but I just don't like it when ladies have to touch anyone's feet [be it hubby or father-in-law etc.] I don't know, I just didn't like it.

I would have loved it if they had shown a hug instead😛

Agreed. It was quite touching and IMO quite the right thing for Riddhima to do.
I'm not big at all on women touching their husbands' feet and stuff like that but in this case it was highly HIGHLY symbolic - she burns pictures of her past and THEN moves to touch Sid's feet - it was an acknowledgment of their relationship, her acquiescence, her submission to what was happening in her life; it was also part apology, part promise - I LOVED it.
And after that symbolic burning, she goes back to her parents to take their aashirwaad - Riddhima now has accepted this new turn in her life from within.
Should be interesting to see where it goes.
