Actually I like both Atif and Kailash's version.
But Atif sang the lyrics incorrectly in the chorus part...

shreya ghoshal made a negative remark about his singing and rendition some days back. Nyways i love all three versions! they didn't use kailash's version because it doesn't suit ranbir's vocal and soham's voice is just too sweet

Yup Kailash Kher's version is unplugged which means no use of electrical instruments at all and just using a few musical instruments, so it touches the heart , even Atif Aslam's is good but i prefer KK's version. They may have used Atif's version in the movie becoz Atif's voice suits Ranbir more than KK's voice !! 😉
