NEWPrida FF~ Love...Is It?~ COMPLETED

Prithvi Saxena loved horses. The wilder the horse; more exciting the prospect to tame it. His bones loved the challenge of a wild horse and that's why he dreamed to own a stud farm. He knew his calling but the reality of it was that such a venture needed money.

Sighing, the tall, well-built man got up from his bed to face another day at the Manali adventure sport academy, wishing he owned it as he had millions of ideas to make it a resounding success. "If wishes were horses" he mumbled under his breath and went to get ready for a long day at work with customers, some of whom put his teeth on edge.

Yesterday a woman had walked in, in heels; he rolled his eyes and had wanted to try horse riding. These women, trust them to wear heels in a stud farm. She had insisted on riding Badal, as, how had she put it, he frowned, "he is shoooo cute" Oh god…he had wished to give her a piece of his mind but had been stopped in the nick of time by Vinnie Mathur, the owner of the academy and his good friend.

"Shooo cute" he mimicked toweling his hair dry. "I wish…oh well….get to work Prithvi….you need the money …so stop complaining" he rebukes himself and heads out to the kitchen where he can smell the delicious cooking of his mother.

"Maa" he hugs her from behind and she pats his face lovingly.

"I have packed your lunch Prithvi and you better not forget to eat ok" Suman Saxena tells him off lovingly for his habit to forget eating when he was busy caught up with work.

"Love you Maa" he places a kiss on her cheek and digs into his favorite breakfast on piping hot aloo parathas.

"Did Papa call? When is he coming back?" he asks between bites excited at the prospect of his father retiring from the high profile job as the Chief of Security at Gujral Enterprises and the family being complete once again.

"Good morning Maa…..Bhaiyya" Sameer comes yawning in and Prithvi looks daggers at him.

"You still not found a job?" Prithvi asks sternly, shifting away his plate, which Sameer was trying to share.

"Oh Bhaiyya please….don't start early in the morning" he replies tongue-in-cheek and gets a whack from his mother.

"Sameer…..better reply and I also need the answer to that" Suman rebukes him. He hugs her around the waist and cuddles in.

"Maa…..I am the marketing manager for bhaiyya's stud farm…..I don't want to sell my skills to the competitors" Sameer replies back and Prithvi rolls his eyes at his insolence.

"Sameer….stop making excuses and start working….you lazy bum" Prithvi says and Sameer nods his head and heads to get himself some breakfast.

Varun comes in and greets everyone and they have breakfast pulling each other's leg and enjoying their time together.

Balraj Saxena calls later in the night and tells Prithvi that there is a good job in the Gujral stud farm, which would enhance his experience and also they were in dire need for a good horseman, so he should come to Mumbai as soon as possible, wrapping his work with the Manali academy.

Pritvi jumps at the idea and when he tells it to everyone else they encourage him to take the chance. He wraps up all his commitments and heads to Mumbai after a two weeks with Sameer in tow as he convinced everyone that Mumbai was a land of opportunities even for him. They meet their father and settle in with him. He asks them to explore Mumbai for a few days as the owner of the stud farm was out on a business trip and would interview him later.

Prithvi still goes ahead and starts familiarizing himself with the stud farm and makes friends with the boys working there and is relieved that finally no girls in heels would be throwing their weight around because of their daddy's money. Sameer on the other hand has fun exploring Mumbai.

A few days later, in the night he hears one of the horses neighing pretty incessantly and though he knows that Danny is there, he simply walks out of curiosity to see what was causing the commotion.

He cannot believe his eyes at the scene which greets him. Danny is trying to get the new horse, Toofan in control and helping him is a woman in a dress and heels. He rubs his eyes as if to wipe away the nightmare but the woman is trying to actually pet the horse that is going wild on her.

"Toofan" Prithvi addresses the horse and takes the reins from Danny and controls the wild horse and then turns to face the woman who is standing with her hands on her hips and watching him with narrowed eyes.

Damini Gujral did not like strangers handling her horses. She was going to fire the person who had allowed this man to come inside her stud farm without her permission. The arrogant man, what did he think…oh he didn't need to think…he was all brawn and no brain she was sure.

She saw him striding towards he, his eyes narrowed and the expression on his face none too pleased. He was tall and well built and strode with confidence, as if he owned the place. As he came nearer, she noticed his hooked nose and concluded that he was not bad looking at all. He stopped just a step away from her and looked down at her in disdain.

Prithvi was extremely mad at the woman standing in the middle of the farm in a business dress. He had met many like her but she definitely took the cake. Her long hair flew around her face in the wind and when she held them off her face, his breath hitched in his throat. The crazy lady was beautiful. She was standing with her hands on her hips and looking him up and down pretty disdainfully. Her huge dark eyes were flashing fire. He needed to talk to the person who had been stupid enough to let her in the farm at this time of the night.

"Lady….are you crazy?" he asked her looking down at her and mimicking her stance.

"Excuse me?" she asked taken aback at his tone. He had a rough husky voice and it sent shivers down her spine. She blinked at the thought which had just crossed her mind but shook it away.

She had a tinkling musical voice and had taken a step back at his curt address. So, missy was a poor little rich girl.

"Crazy…that's what you are….what are you doing here at this time of the night and in heels?" he gestures at her shoes and looks heavenwards shaking his head.

"Who are you to ask?" she counters, her temper rising by the second.

"Who let you in? Danny…..who the hell is she?" Prithvi questions Danny and he cowers looking at the lady in front of him.

"Danny after you tell him who I am…..definitely tell me who is he?' she turns to Danny too and tells him authoritatively.

"Prithvi sir this is Damini Mam….Damini Gujral….the owner of this farm…..and Damini mam this is Prithvi saxena…the new manager of your stud farm" Danny introduces them to eavch other and Prithvi's mouth falls open in shock.

"A woman….you….you are my boss?" he spits out the words and Damini's spine straightens at his chauvinistic attitude.

"Not anymore….you are fired….I don't need you to run my farm" she tells him and turns around and walks into the dark night back into the Gujral mansion, leaving a stunned Prithvi with a funny feeling in his stomach, which was beyond his understanding.
