Dialogue Male and Female of the Fortnight
By: loveabletwinz
Considering the events of this past fortnight, we didn't have too many hard-hitting dialogues! I was expecting a lot of good dialogues, especially from Manav, but *SIGH* we got nothing. But we do have a couple of good ones, so take a look :)
Agar tera saath archana ko mil jaye na, tho uska safar asaani se tay ho sakta hain - Damodar
Damodar ji absolutely gets major cookie points for this dialogue. I personally loved this dialogue because of the double meaning it holds. All Archana needs is Manav by her side, and she can do even the impossible! It is a very simple dialogue, and there isn't much more I can say about it, but I do love the subtle things that Damodar says! Maybe Damodar ji is the little push Manav needs!!
Ek baat utni sach hain, jho main kabhi jutla nahi sakti ki, ki main aapse bohut pyaar karti hoon manav, aur hamesha karti rahoongi - Archana
HAILA!!!! *Drop on the floor from a heart attack* Did you guys see the look on Manav's face when Archana said these lines to him?? This was such a gentle, tender moment between these two! The melodrama factor was just about right, it wasn't too much or too little drama for us to handle' and that's what made this scene and this dialogue so beautiful! It is the most straightforward confession of love I have ever seen, yet somehow so very beautiful.
Star Male and Female of the Fortnight
Star Male : Well we have had an eventful fortnight and many twists and turns. Only two males have shined this fortnight for me, and thats Manav and Baba but i have to give the Star Male of the Fortnight to Manav ... firstly for saving archu when she fell and then talking back to aai and shutting her up ... and the best part was when manav put sindoor on archus maang ... it was a breathtaking moment ... Manav is defending archu when aai shouts at her !! ... I just hope manav keeps it up and declares his love to archu
Star Female : Hands down, Star Female of the fortnight goes to Archu!! ... she is doing her best to make Manavs life as easy as possible by making the engagement flow smoothly then saving the family from embarrassment when she made herself look bad in front of the neighbors. i loved how archu gave shrauvni (Churail) the gold Ganpatti Bappa ... that was really sweet ... i hope archu will get a confession from manav really soon !!!

The performances of the past fortnight were quite decent, nothing really stood out as exceptional though. Our leads, Sushant Singh Rajput (Manav) and Ankita Lokhande (Archana) did a great job, as usual, but there was nothing exceedingly powerful about their performances. This week the award is combined for Actor and Actress, as the two usually accompany each other in their scenes and create a realistic pair together. These two are none other than Savita Prabhune (Sulochana) and Kishori Mahabole (Manohar). They have their times of being a bit too extreme (in both directions, dramatic and boring), but they generally do a wonderful job. Neither had any major scenes this fortnight, but every scene they were in had a realistic touch. Their interaction with each other feels true to life and effortless. One noted moment was when they went to meet Archana after her accident: they came across as very normal, concerned parents, which is just what their roles ask for. Week after week, they make us believe that Sulochana and Manohar are normal, middle-class, Maharashtrian parents, and thus they receive this spot together.
ArMan Sequence of the Fortnight
This week was a lot better than all the previous weeks, since we actually got to see Manav's soft behavior towards Archana-the damsel in distress. It is a fundamental fact that when in love, hearts bleed together... and that was evident in Manav's eyes all the time Archu was in pain.
Best Family Scene of the Fortnight
By: aartifarty
There werent many family scenes this week ... actually i think there was only one and im not sure if it was a family scene, but its the one where archu returns home for the day and all of the karanjkars are planning the engagement ... everyone was soo happy .. oh and there is another scene where Manju returns home and then punni-aai have a moment and then punni-vinod have a moment ... but i have to say ... i liked the senti hug between aai and manju ... i hope we have more family scenes next fortnight...
Mr. and Ms. Head Turner [Style Icon] of the Fortnight
By: nishr
This time Savita aayi shined in style department whether it may be dream sequence in which she wore goggles with heavy ornaments or the saree she wore on Manav's engagement was good. And during engagement Sharavani was huge disappointment in dressing, it was dull just like her expression hope we get to see her in vibrant and bright colors as she usually wear very dull color as we know she is from rich family. And not to forget even Vandita who hardly gets any dialogue or footage among cast was looking good in purple color saree during engagement.
Mr. Head Turner : If Archu was female style icon how can Manav stay behind her. Even Manav was looking handsome and cute in white kurta which he wore for his engagement or the sherwani which he wore on his performance on Choti Bahu. Manav just charmed us more this time in desi clothes.
Other than him we saw a change in dress in Kaka. This time he choose white Kurta for Manav's engagement rather than his usual white shirt with black pant. But the one who surprised us this week was Damodar baba who got new hair cut and was looking cute in it.

A Blank Canvas
She stood by the window, watching the glistening full moon. The day had a particular gist to it, and she couldn't contemplate why. Turning around, Archana walked up to the easel that stood in the corner. The easel held a blank, un-touched canvas; the one that has stood empty for 6 months now. She held one of the brushes that were splattered around the area. It was soft, delicate, and warm. It felt to her as though she was an amateur painter; holding a brush for the first time. Oh the irony of her life.
-Flashback-
"Damn it! I messed up again." Archana muttered some forbidden words; pent up with frustration that she had messed up for the umpteenth time. She had added too much yellow; and now the painting looked un-balanced. Still muttering, the petite girl ambled her way up to the professor to ask for his help; for this was a mistake she couldn't single handedly amend.
Archana was one of those people with hands that were gifted for the art of painting. It was one of those god-given gifts, the ability to transfer the beauty of nature and light onto a canvas. Her applying to the art school would have never come true if it wasn't for him. He was the sole reason she had started painting.
-Present-
A tear escaped her eye at the thought of him. When she caught a glimpse of the canvas, all Archana saw was white. There was a great amount of similarity between her life and the canvas. Both were blank; devoid of any colour.
Who knew one night would change her life to such a great extent?
-Flashback-
"Three more days" crossing the date on the calendar, Archana heaved a sigh. Their parents had whole heartedly agreed, the date had been fixed, and everything was going through with great speed. She, Archana Karanjkar, was getting married. Turning her mere childhood crush from a relationship filled of love, into an eternal bond of promise.
As she stared out the window, she suddenly felt something pull. Something in her heart had changed? Fear over took her, for it was not a good sign. It felt as though someone close was going away from her, but who? Praying to the one above to keep her family safe and sound, she turned to go outside as she had heard her mother call.
Everything after that was a blur, the call from Manav's parents, her driving to the hospital, sitting for hours in the waiting room of the OT; numb. The only thing she remembered was his final adieu. His final words, where he had told her to stay the way she is. He knew she would stop painting after him, that's why he had asked her as his final promise to keep the art alive. To keep her gift alive.
It was after he left that Archana realized she had prayed to god to keep her loved ones safe; not her life itself.
-Present-
It had been 6 months; maybe it was time for a change. Looking around the little studio that he had gifted her, she saw colour again. Her perspective of the world had changed. The light was now visible, pure as always. It amazed her to see the world from this view again; the same light had touched him once, his body and soul. Archana felt fresh, it helped her to reminisce the old days. Remembering him had always given her a stride in everything. The hardest of the tasks seemed simple with him by her side.
Picking up a charcoal pencil and her pad, she drew her first line in months; the first of many that were to come under his memories. Manav, even non-existent, had taken over her in the form of art.
"I would give up everything for one moment with you; for one moment is better than a lifetime of not knowing you"

Expectations for next Fortnight
By: toothbrush13
If the pattern continues into this fortnight, we should be looking forward to a rather boring and stretched out two weeks of Pavitra Rishta. (For new readers, a general pattern has been found in this show, weeks are alternatively exciting and boring.) Last fortnight seemed quite dhamakedaar for PR (with the two sindoor scenes, Archana's fall, and the engagement), and thus, if we follow the pattern, the next fortnight should be rather boring.
We have absolutely no clues from any articles or any SBS/SBB reports. Two clues may actually be taken from that: either we are a) going to get one really boring fortnight, as even SBS has nothing new to report on, or b) going to get some unexpected, dramatic twist which the producers would like to keep a secret for the time being.
The story will likely stay Deshmukh-home centric and we will probably see Varsha's engagement and wedding preparations. The rest is questionable. What was with the lady that got a special ten second close-up? Does she know something about Shravani's situation? Will she play a pivotal role in the coming fortnight? What will happen between Manav and Archana? Will Manav let his guard down further and bring in Archana closer, albeit inadvertently? Or will Manav try to pry himself and Archana apart emotionally by throwing another heartbreaking event her way? Will Satish and Varsha's engagement happen smoothly? Will there be a big twist at the engagement? Is Ajit coming back with some ruinous motives? What does Rasika have planned to create havoc? Will Shravani, finally, find some more expressions to give?
Very little is known of the next fortnight, so we all must wait and watch.
