you yourself said that suicide is no option....agreed if they don't show sid rid marriage...because shashank(he being a dignified and educated person he is) should have been more broadminded and thought about the world than just created character for conveniently performing sid rid marriage sister stella...if he was sooo concerned about his daughter he should have sent her off to US or some other country...where no one really knows her past and really no one is concerned....when a father who is soooo respectable and educated can behave like this then i wouldn't be surprised to see his daughter behave like this....did she try to commit suicide when armaan left her...nooo...though she was not the same person she was she was living her life...but now since armaan's truth is out and if she has to marry someone else owing to their parents honour then i guess she has no option left...they have emotionally blackmailed her to this marriage...

and this is a fictional show where AR have been loved by the audience for more than 2 years and eagerly waited for their marriage...so no ar fan can really take this sadma...i myself would say let riddhima die than get married to sid...
