Punjabis always do that ghodi ka sagan. Then they leave in a car and b4 entering the bride's venue, the dulha gets on the ghodi again. Then other sagans are done.

I know about movies ka asar. Nowadays everyone...Gujrati, Bengali, Marwari brides...all of them wear chudaas...u know the red and white bangle sets that only Punjabi brides would wear. Sab movies ka asar..Yash Chopra movies.

Even the jootey churaana is the HAHK asar--- it became such a rage after that, I remember...

Hubby works for a company with bases in Canada and US. So they have to work according to US/Canada timings...when all SW ppl are online together and butting heads over some if..then...else thingie. 😆

I agree !!! And that song Dulhe ke Saaliyon Hare Dupate Waliyon , that became a rage amongst the Band Masters. I hear that song being played by the band in every wedding !!!😆

Actually from her name I thought she was a South Indian, coz normally the name Sweta (without H like Shweta) is common in South Indians !!! 😛

Luckily, I don't photograph like the Chinese or the Japanese--- I once went to Cologne with a Chinese classmate, who was clicking pictures even of the random trees on the street. 😆 I only had a few pictures from everywhere that I have been and mostly, the date was still in place (so, it didn't take ages!)... but it does take a lot of time especially if you stop to admire them...

The problem is I get all sappy while doing the sorting and stop to admire these pics and hence it takes wayyyy longer than it should. 😕 😆

I take pics of everything. These two pics that I posted. They make awesome wallpapers. 😛 Yes, The Japs and Chinese click everything!! And they go so nutty. Running around with their cameras. 😆 😆

Ah, yeah... That HAHK movie really revolutionised the wedding industry in India...
I liked the movie while watching it... Our whole family went to Chanakya to see the matinee show... and my mum cried so copiously when Renuka Shahane slipped from the stairs and died...

I should watch a purani movie tonight... I'm remembering so many of them today... 😍
