I think it is high time the serial got a new name....Pavitra Rishta does not suit it. Neither is there anything Pavitra in it nor a rishta for that matter !!!! Being kind hearted, compassionate, thinking only of others welfare...all that is fine. But presenting women as just objects who get married is tasteless. What the heck is wrong with Shravani? And what kind of a moron is Manav?

I think we have to look beyond the marriage in this rishta. If it was someone else in place of Archana and Manav i'm sure they would have divorced by now.

But here when Archana was shown that Manav is guilty, yes she left him to family pressure but she still felt for him, and when Manav's family got jailed Manav was still saying no Archana can't do this.

Manav's brother dies partly becuase of Archana and he still believes in her and loves her and we heard this when he was talking to Tarun. He still supports her and defends her when his mom is telling him to move forward.

So even though their marriage bond is not that strong currently but from their hearts they are very much bonded.

no its name is perfect..........coz the concept of the show is nazdikiya ya ho dooriyan........bas pyar hi rahega darmiya..........their pious bonding is always pious and so.......whatever shravani or engagement cannot break their bonding
