Hello DMGians......been a long time since I have been here. Today after a very very long time happened to see DMG and felt like sharing my thoughts........
I don't really know what has happened to Ridhima....but I have not see any character as messed up as that....it brought to my mind a post written long back by Aarti....about her character riding a moral high horse.
When someone loves her she pushes them away....plays with their feelings....cozying up to them when they try to go away.....tempting them to come back dangling the carrot and then disappointing them.....poor Arman....he faced the brunt of it.....and the poor man seems to have disappeared unable to stand her emotional atyachaar...
When he was around, she used to put him off, lecture him, scream and make him feel like he was not good enough.....once he is not on the scene,.....she puts on this great pativrata act....this "deewanapan"....this pyaar....come on give me a break...
Now her dad and Dr. Sid are trying to help her and be her strength....she turns her stream of abuse and her shak and her terribly odious behaviour loose on them......poor Sid....must be getting nightmares in his sleep thinking of Dr. Shanx proposal (if that clip is true) ...marry Ridhima indeed.....it is like putting a garland of snakes around one's neck....good luck Sid....my heartfelt sympathy and condolences.....
But all in all must say this....the creatives sure have been very true to the odious character of Ridzy--ditzy.....though I miss the original version.....this must be the only serial where the heroine is so mahaan,....so pati vruta......so pure.......so bholi bhali.....and yet she would give any kektavamps a run for their money and more......when ridhima is here why fear?????? you will get you daily dose of sadomasochistic thrills...........
ok now I know time for the disclaimers.......this is only and only what I felt about the character and has nothing whatsoever to do with the actors.....Ridhima you rule...you don't rock my world...thank God....
