The issue here is more about trust than your past coming back to haunt you. And I agree with Sneha, they should have not rushed through the ILU and lovey dovey stuff. i wish yuvi's past is dealt with less serious story line n let's him with lesser stains, 'coz not only winning naina's trust i think is vital.. also wish he proves his trustworthyness to ppl like shashank n others, for a glorious future, dat too with an angel beside him to walk along the life... i wish there is much more emphasises on yuvi naina luv track, 'coz yuna in luv is just the beginning... But I think what they are playing at here is this time when Yuvi and Naina have a fallout because of trust issues, Naina would not forgive him so easily.

BTW, a thought provoking post Yami and nice explanations of Yuvi's current behavior. thank u anu...

You know the first thought that came to my mind after reading the post was if Yuvi is at all a gunda(hope he is not)...then its gonna be like the movie Karam.....Yuvi a gunda but a good one who has a heart and feels for people and Naina falls for him and other stuff....and if it is going that way then don't want the end to be the same........John died in the movie......don't want something like that to happen to YuNa....I want a happily ever after type of ending for them.

Firstly, Amazing post Yami.. i just love it and i like the two possiblities that you have mentioned but i am somewherer in between those two.. And Yuvi getting tainted with the dark side would never surprise me.. infact i would expect it to be a logical path for him..

Yuvi was merely a kid of what 13-14 years when his mother passed away and his brother went into coma.. thus it was the perfect moment for the dark world to lure him and it did.. And that was the start of Yuvi getting tough! He studied and worked for them part time.. His anger, his hurt was mocked up and that transformed him into a man who never shares his secrets. He learnt that detachment is the best way for easy survival. He learnt in that world that friends betray thus making up for the lack of his socializing and that winning is neccessary at all costs - and that would explain him using Naina against his own soul and getting revenge even at the cost of hurting hundreds of lives by putting the hospital to fire.

Thus it was the darker side that had made him cold, ruthless and smart too. It was here that he learnt the tricks of the trade (this would explain how he broke into that shop at night), he learnt how cunning the world is and how ruthless it can be and that the only way to combat this society is to be better than it in everything bad!! The only thing that kept the Yuvi inside him alive was his roots, his family and his brother reminding him of the values his mother and brother had taught him; something that were a faint memory but its those that made him the every inch human that he is.

And as he grew up, the desire for revenge escalated and he was determined to gain justice and for that he knew he had to become a doctor and that would give him cause to withdraw from the dark world at his own will, and given his so called experience he knew no one could stop him (hence his confidence at being the best) and he left. Now, Raj is back to take him to where he originally belongs!!

Also, i think Yuvi may have done some horrible things but he is genuinely trying to rectify his mistake and i also think that Yuvi tried to help someone and thats why the goons thought he was double-crossing them!!

And yes, i would love to see him in control and threatening Raj and the other Gundas and actually hatching a plan to make them fall in their own trap, because he is one clever dude with Naina as his weakness!! but yes, I want to see the old Yuvi back in action against Raj too.. i hope Yuvi finds something against Raj and they have an amazing mind-game!! :)

Even i dread the thought that Yuvi can have anything to do with the underworld , worse being a goon. That is another reason i feel that Naina may have to regret her decision of having fallen in love with somebody from the dark side. I wish wish wish wish he comes clean with Naina over his past. If he doesn't tell it now... and she finds it out through an ugly incident.... well, all hell will break loose.

I don't even want to think that Yuvi has been a GOON.
