hi
i was just watching the episode...and one thing that struck me, dont know why especially today...was that all the contestants, take criticism and feedback really well and their attitude towards it is very nice to see..

for example, i really liked how punit responded to terence and geeta's disappointment by thanking them and saying sorry to remo. Or how binny immediately took feedback well and responded to terence in a nice way. I could see when Shakti was also being told she does the same thing, and that their hip hop influenced act was seen as contemporary...you could see she knew it was urban style, and knew what terence was saying, but she just nodded and took their feedback. So thats something nice to see...

Also they seem humble...punit, parvez, kruti, shakti, binny, nikitasha, kunwar...mostly all of them, but these stand out...they always seem very grateful for what they've received...like its easy for shakti to get a little over confident or feel a bit superior...with her best performances roll...but that hasnt happened...thats another thing i really liked about the set of contestants.

I know, it was there in previous seasons too among some contestants...

With respect to the masters...I really liked the relationship all of them shared with each other...i dont know, last week and the week before or something, there seemed to be some tension..or whether it was the way it was edited, I dont know...Im not talking about disagreements...because they have to disagree, to some level...but it was a relief to see them in this episode...they disagreed, they commented on each others chroeography, but they seemed to be at ease with each other....laughing and joking next minute...and thats really nice to see amongst them. Its one of the reasons I like the show, because there is no spite against each other, like some dramas other reality shows have been. There is disagreement and argument, which can be healthy, but there is also respect and love for each other. I got a feeling the comradeship was going down, but it seems to be there..long live them! :)

Haha...funny thing i noticed today...Terence a bit angry in his feedback...to punit and shashank...for a second i was like, huh? thats terence....but i like the fact and i like how it came out...it wasnt out of anger...it was out of actually caring for the 2 contestants..like when he spoke to punit, it seemed like...since punit has trained under tlcdc, his company, he knows him, he knows punit's capability and expects him to live up to that...there seemed to be a sense of belonging...I really like the way terence gives feedback in general..on the spot, crticial, particular and yet, not and never to put down the performers, so today came as a surprise, but because it was punit and shashank...and he knows their potential, there was that sense of apna-pan, so the 2 of them did not misunderstand what he said; as you can see in punit's reply. Its very different from the way geeta gives feedback...personally, i find her manner a tad bit harsh sometimes in negative feedback but thats only my opinion.

Vivek oberoi...personally when i heard he was the celebrity judge, i was like oh...why...why another celebrity...this is perhaps one of the few times i liked him...he was good on the show...in his feedback...in the care he took to know the contestants...in his cute relationship with geeta...was nice to see that. Haha! hats off to him for the lift...im sure geeta also put the effort...i liked remo and terence cheering her on! :) was nice to see the old comradeship between them. Hope zee and DID producers, dont do any drama, and leave the show, simple and about dance. It would be good.

Lastly, about shakti and her repetition...i feel for terence, because i know he's made the effort to do something different and it is...different. And i really like his choreography...each time...Having said that I understand from where Remo spoke too...that yes, it is urban style..and influenced by hip hop...but comes across like another contemporary dance performance...in temrs of is presentation somehow...And it didnt seem as drastic a change in the appearance to someone who doesnt know the different forms of dance. ..or i guess everyone thought finally shakti will do something totally unrelated to contemporary. So i understood that....but i think she is versatile...and i think we'll see glimpses of it. Im sure terence will do a remarkable job of the choreography anyway! l:) so much for expectation!

very long post!

Nice post :-)

I also liked the way the contestants took the feedback directed them and it was nice to see that while the mentors do criticize each other's choreographies or contestants, they all still get along well at the end of the day....it was so cute the way Remo and Terence were teasing Geeta after Vivek mentioned her earlier days in Farah Khan's dance troupe.

Re: Shakti....I really do think the choreography was repetitive....there is a predictability to the way Shakti does these certain contemporary dance steps now....I literally felt in bits like I was watching some steps from her Khuda Jaane performance again....The execution is smooth as always cuz Shakti is a great dancer....but she needs different choreography....it's high time.....Obviously Terence is capable of amazingly innovative choreography as he's shown with the many different dancing styles he's given to Kruti....then why not Shakti?? Does he not have that confidence in her for her to carry out something non-contemporary-ish??

Kruti and Parvez's act yesterday was so entertaining and well performed....but I don't think they got the due credit they deserved....I really enjoyed watching their act much more than that of Shakti-Kunwar who's performance I found strikingly similar to their earlier ones.

oh i liked kruti and parvez's performance too...i really really like the two of them as performers...yeah, i dont think they got their due either....but i felt more so, in the previous episode with the bhojpuri salsa...i reallllly loved that...kruti and kunwar...i know there was a mess up because of the costume...but i really enjoyed that...was one of my favs...and we've got to see a lot of variety that way with the both kruit and parvez...

something very nice about kruti from within...as a person...i dont know what...actually all of tkt.. :)

Yep, the bhojpuri salsa was awesome too! Kruti really hasn't gotten her due in this show so far....she's performed so well so many times but she's yet to get the best performance of the day yet....maybe she should dance with Shakti in an act...that seems to be the automatic ticket to getting performance of the day this season....LOLLL

I felt really bad for Kruti in yesterday's epi when she was getting so emotional missing her dad....my heart went out to her.... but I really like the way this girl carries herself....there's something very genuine and no-nonsense about her :-)

Overall I also love the bonding in TKT....like the way Parvez and Kruti were cheering and chanting for Shakti-Kunwar to win performance of the day again...that was very sweet of them :-)

ha ha! i was just thinking that...she should dance with shakti! hahahah,,, :) :) i also feel she doesnt get her full due.

yeah...she does carry herself very well...

also i noticed, no one really says much to shakti...haha..she always stands there looking for something from the judges...constructive criticism...looking for ways to imporve or something specific...ha ha...i guess she's been too "wow" as remo says to say more...this is with respect to her dancing per se...its about the choreo, or expressions, or mostly abt her partner..haha... :) shakti wow mohan... :p seriously, has anyone ever told her something she didnt do? wow! that really speaks well of her as a performer! :)

Yes, I really wish ppl would try to move beyond just saying 'wow' to Shakti each time....lol....she's very good no doubt....but this 'wow' business is getting repetitive....just like her performances each week...it's time for her to show something new.....so I'm glad that that the repetitive point was brought up this week....maybe this will finally make Terence try something new with Shakti for next week now.

Totally! I agree in ALL the parts you mentioned in this post of yours. Somehow, TKT Toli always seems to have the best bonding possible amongst the contestants, as well as with their mentor. Oh yeah, we sure do not know the behind-the-scenes scenario, but at least from the little we see of it. I really like the easiness that's between them. They say hugs etc don't indicate the relationship two individuals share, but from TKT, it sure seems as if it does. They're all so lovey-dovey! 😳

I also agree with Kruti being really very very good. She's awesome even! I think she's always has a bit of bad luck, unfortunately, and although no mistake of everyone, sometimes or another, something goes wrong with her or her partner. Next time I hope Terence pairs them, and prepares a "jhakass" one, but I think now they'll be performing in trio perhaps. Or else, I just hope Parvez comes back and gives them a nice couple-dance. Why doesn't he now try what he's been doing on Kunwar-Shakti on Parvez-Kruti, or Kunwar-Kruti? I think it'll look awesome... 😃

About genuine, I think both Shakti and Kruti as well as Nikitasha have that nice, genuine attitude. Well since Shakti has been getting a lot more attention, perhaps she seems a bit different, but all three of them have always seemed very genuine at heart. I like all three of them when it comes to that matter! 😛

My heart went out to her as well. I literally had a tear that escaped my eyes. And I really appreciated how Terence came to her. It was really sweet and caring of him to do so!

very long post!

I agree with u on everything! I also loved Parvez-Kruthi's performance yesterday. They were really really good! I don't know why they weren't appreciated as much :S and yea Kruthi is one of my favourites as well 😛
and also, as much as I love Shakti and Terence, I want to see Shakti in a totally new and different style! I loved her and amar's performance yesterday as well, I really enjoyed it but I still think that they should do something different. I wonder what it would've been like if Terence gave Parvez-Kruthi's performance to Shakti-Amar, and vice versa
