I consider 'Hannibal Lecter' as the best.

Other fine villains who are not in the poll include 'Nurse Ratched' played by 'Louise Fletcher' in 'One flew over the cuckoo's nest' and 'Gordon Gekko' played by Michael Douglas in 'Wall street'.

You have good taste, pogo ji. I chose Hannibal Lecter among these. That was a wonderful performance by Mr. Hopkins. My personal favorites would be Will Smith in The Pursuit of Happiness and Tom Hanks in Forrest Gump and Cast Away. Mindblowing performances. I don't understand why people liked Heath Ledger's performance in Dark knight. Just because it was his last performance, doesn't mean that people have to empathized with him. IMO, the movie just sucked.

'Hannibal Lecter' is the shortest lead performance to win an Oscar, as Hopkins only appears on screen for little over 24 minutes! Amazing performance!

Heath Ledger was an evolving actor Debu bhai.. His performances in Dark Knight and Brokeback mountain captured attention of lots of critics. I think his portrayal of joker was amazing! I consider the movie as one of the best in Batman series..😊
