Kuljeet Randhawa's suicide has shocked one and all who knew her.

Her suicide is being attributed to personal reasons, as matters on her professional front had started looking up.

Sources reveal Kuljeet had a tiff with her friend, Bhano, also an actor. The fracas might have sent Kuljeet into depression, otherwise remembered as a 'brave girl'.

"She'd been very subdued over the last few days.

When we last spoke, Kuljeet said she was upset with certain issues, but she didn't want to discuss those," recalled a friend, on condition of anonymity.

Another friend, also a TV actress, said Kuljeet was in no mood for conversation when she last called her.

"She cut it short, saying she was tied up with work. She promised to return the call, but she didn't do so," mourned her friend.

Despite several attempts, Bhano — who co-starred with Kuljeet in Special Squad — remained unavailable for comments.

Kuljeet Randhawa was the Gladrags face of the year in 2001 and got her break on TV with Hip Hip Hurray and Cats. She also starred in Special Squad and suspense drama, Kohinoor.

Back from a sabbatical, Kuljeet started work on director Sanjay Sharma's remake of Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro, just a fortnight ago.
