I agree tht Priyanka has some knowledge of music.But comparinge her 2 SONU NIGAM,the best singer in the country is ridiculous.And ya his presence is the biggest boost 4 the show.If u notice,all the contestants r eagerly waiting 4 his comments kyunki only he knows wat he is saying.Indian Idol wud hav been crap without SONU NIGAM.

Yes Priyanka sings well, I agree she has some sound knowledge of music. But comparing her with Sonu is so futile, I dont even want to begin.

What Sonu Nigam said is right, as contestents started giving more imortance to make up and dressing rather than singing.

Otherthan this I think we dont know much about how a show works. everything is played according to the script.Even the animated fight between the judges are totally well scripted. These are known as PR stunts to increase the TRP. Earlier in one of the thread somebody was talking abut Saregama happenings. All of those happend and happening are totally orchastrated to pull back and increase the viewrship. I hope those who are working in PR agencies can understand this.

sonu is way ahead and one of the best singers of the country currently
so i would agree with his comments

but As PR guys know all too well
