Ok, this is probably like the 100th topic on him, but I just HAD to say few things. I feel bad for him. Zee is hyping him up to such a level that people are starting to loose focus about why he is there. This whole Soumya deal, and teasing him, and even introducing him with such gusto...just treat him like every other contestant, he doesn't need all that extra attention, and if your going to give it to him, you should allot the same amount to other contestants, so the audience can connect with the others as well, its unfair to the other contenders. There was a post opened up here a few days ago, and the forum member was saying how she didn't know who Puneet was, I don't blame her, Zee barely gives the poor guy any limelight, and I feel like he is such an awesome Male dancer on the show.

DID season 2 is just not making me as happy. The words being exchanges between the judges, its clear that there is some sort of underlying tension between Terrence and Geeta. Geeta has such a "me me me" attitude this season, maybe its just me, but I feel like she does. Editing ka funda, yes, maybe. Dance wise, yes there have been a few good numbers, but certain numbers I felt could have been stronger, but that has nothing to do with 'the show' really, that's more of an individual thing. There just seems to be too much drama this season. I'm sorry if it offends anyone, but I hate it when they talk so damn much on the show, I hate it when the contenders talk too much, when the Jai/Mithun stuff happens, its rather irritating, I mean, I just want to watch people dance, get judged and get on with it. I feel like I waste so much of my time watching faltu nautanki when watching DID sometimes. That's just my feeling, so no need to get all defensive about the show, if you don't feel that way, then I'm happy for you, but for me, maybe because the show caters so much to rural Indian audiences that they find it necessary to put in all that that utterly useless stuff, but I just wish DID would go back to being DID.

Sigh.

No, I agree with you. Its true! Even I have noticed that, among the judges.. Remo seems to have a "aha!" look on his face, every time.. there is an elimination, as mostly his contestants remain safe. Geeta..seems really frustrated and disgusted, over everything. Terrence seems to be the calmest one of all! He seems to be the only one, to handle it cooly and professionally. He enjoys what he is doing, and believes in the best of work, he lets his work speak for him, more than him speaking..( tho, there may be some editing ka funda here.. regarding his critical point of view.. about the contestants' performances..) but is it not shown. 😒 But yeaa.. overall.. its def. feels like its more of a winning competition for the judges (except terrence, who simply enjoys everything on the show..), than just having fun, and enjoying the experience. Its becoming more political than healthy competition. Last year regarding this aspect.. was SSOOOO much better!! ugh. i'm really sad and mad. I want DID2 to be like last year..!! all clean and green! Wish they'd act more like friends, than 'jani dushman' 😆

Yes, Geeta is picking more on Kunwar mainly this time, like she did on Salman last season!! She saw Salman as the biggest threat last season that she didnt even pick him to be in her top four for the finale! This season sadly, she has turned against Kunwar as she sees him as a big threat I think!! If she made comments that made sense or at least had some truth, then it was okay!! But she simply exaggerates and tries to find faults even when there arent any!! Pathetic!!!
Yes, Terence keeps his cool and believes in his work rather than in politics. He also makes sure his dancers keep professional attitude, and make them good humans too. Puneet was trained in Terence's dance academy, so he also has learned to always keep his head at the normal level. Nikki is also humble.

Going by the topic, I will restrict to Dharmesh here in this topic.
I have always been saying from day one and first post on him that he is not going to win DID2..and I say it with more firmness now.
Having said this and having seen his last performnace (with baloon props), I can strongly say a few things as below;
1. This song's "Chura ke dil mera goria chali" was most probably his own coreography. Geeta may have given him an initial idea or a prompt but it was Dharmesh how too off from there and did a commendable job.
2. Dharmesh has impressed me with his innovation of coreography and has an inclined mind for this.
3. He is not a versatile dancer and has limited steps or moves for himself but when it comes to making others dance, he can be more innovative.
He will not win DID2 but I can assure myself that he will come as a coreographer in Bollywood, sooner or later.

As far as I understand and know, Dharmesh and Dharmesh alone did the choreography for that dance, and Geeta donated nothing!! If she did, she would have been in cloud nine, exaggerating about it that day! Remo, Terence and GM commented and applauded on how brilliant and magical his choreography was and never mentioned anything about Geeta having a part in it. If she did, then GM would have given her a grand salute, I am sure!
I agree with you that he is quite limited when it comes to versatility - he is super good in his own forte but not good when he has to work with a different style outside his comfort zone... And I also doubt he will win DID-2, and his goal is to get recognition as a choreographer rather than winning the show, and he was waiting to do a solo choreographed by himself, as per his own words.. And he would have already achieved the recognition he needs by now, especially with all the added hype. Plus he has the chance to work with either Geeta or Remo as they both are established choreographers in Bollywood... I think he wants to join Remo's Bollywood team and hence he kept saying how much he wants to be with him and how much he admires him and all that... And I am sure Remo would like to have him... Geeta has Altaf and Teena as her assistants anyway, and I hope she has added Siddhesh, Paulson and Vrushali to her staff, and if she did or does, that would be great...

@ akanna
how do you have the 'inside info' on Bollywood coreographers😛. well, Geeta did say that she just gave the idea to Dharmesh and he took off from there.
yes, you are right..he will join Remo and will do well in Bollywood coz his mind-set is suited/tuned to Bollywood kinda dances. Salman ne to bol hi diya hai usko that he will get Dharmesh to do a song for him.

^^ Confidential!!! LOL... 😉 😃
Maybe Geeta suggested the song... Or using the heart balloons as prop... I dont think she contributed anything for the real choreography... Yes, his goal is to become a choreographer in Bollywood and be like Remo, and since Remo also likes him a lot, I feel that he will take Dharmesh to join his staff... Anyway, let's hope that we will get to see some of his good work in the movies in the future... 😊

I agree the Soumya hype thing is hurting Dharmesh, but I don't see him as a big threat as he was perceived int he first place... After four weeks, his dance out of his element were just Okay...Kishore has performed better than him I must say.

I agree with you all, Dharmesh is an excellent dancer, yes, but he is by no means versitile. I have seen much better from some of the other male contestants.. and actually, the girls are faring much better than most of the guys in the season. YAY girls!!!!!!
