Heyy guys...!! 😃
Loved tonight's episode, as always, and so decided to write in with my two cents on what I loved most...it'd be great if you guys pitched in with what you loved as well...here's my list of Moments Of The Day :
* Rohan walking out of Isha's office bathroom with a casual, everyday good morning, good morning, like it's the most obvious thing in the world to be having a bath in her office...and in contrast is Isha, who does a double take when he walks into her office from within it, lol...loved the way she repeats, Naha rahe the...?! Haha...😛
* Rohan's explanation...shower mein paani nahin aa raha tha and flush, I promise you, gaana ga raha tha...😆
* Rohan dumping his towel first on the desk, then on the chair with one questioning-cum-disgusted look from Isha, and then politely back on his own lap...lol...😛
* Rohan asking Isha for a hairbrush...hehe...mera hairbrush?...*Rohan, raised eyebrows and an is-that-even-a-question look*...kisi ka bhi chalega...😎
* Isha to Rohan when he looks totally jealous of Mahesh Shah's resume, his guitar skills in particular...tumhe kuch bajana aata hai?...*Rohan with a cheeky, would-be modest, secretive smile and grimace*...well, hm...*Isha looks repulsed*...Sick!...haha...😆
* Rohan to plumber...teen chaar din lagenga, tab tak mera kya hoenga?!...haha...😆
* Dhruv, the brat-turned-yogi brother...decent actor picked for the part...and his interaction with Rohan throughout the episode was priceless...right from when Rohan first goes to his house...tu pagal ho gaya hai, main pooch raha hoon kaise hua...lol...to his expression when Dhruv mentions soup and steamed vegetables for dinner...yum yum...Rohan walking off in a huff, taking a u-turn and coming right back...my room's that way...the Baba Mahadev DVD...and of course, the invaluable Energy Field...haha...😆
* Ruchika and Huzeifa's Ipod...the whole thing was hilarious...special mention to two scenes...one, where Ruchika spots Huzeifa coming down the stairs and lunges to hide behind a potted plant...two, when Huzeifa drops the new Ipod and Ruchika smacks him for it, and then promptly apologises...hehe...😆
* Rohan and his dentist dating...smooth moves, my friend...right from the first invite for coffee to the feeding of his number into her cellphone and waiting for her call while she's still standing in front of him, lol...😎
* Isha, her dad and Naina...this whole sequence was really sweet...and yes, it came with the old trustworthy message...someone should love you for who you are, and not what you look like or what age you are...nice! 😊
* Rohan's argument with Dhruv over the 4am wake up calls...LOVED Kavi's expression in the bit where he is about to take the sleeping pill, is struck by a sudden eureka moment while looking from the pill to the glass of cold drink in his hand, and casually drops the pill into the glass instead of taking it himself...ensures a good night's sleep and a bright new next day, wishing a hearty good morning to little statuettes in his office, and grinning from ear to ear...hehe...😎
* The last scene, where Mahesh refuses to meet Swati again...what a turnaround, and brilliantly pulled off...!! Just when one thinks the message is quite unequivocally the old adage of not judging a book by its cover, the episode flings a surprise on you by taking the very same message a step further...because the book here has a little something tucked within those covers that lay concealed all this while for those of us who were too busy trying to look beyond it...and this is exactly what I love about this show...there's a message and a good one, but there's no generalisation or preachiness...almost as if to say that a book is often better than its cover, but can turn out to be worse too...because people are different, and perceptions are different...so there...
Longer even than last time, eh? Lol...sorry! I suppose it's just that today had more matter to offer for this kind of thing...would love to hear what you guys think...😊
Cheers!

Hey Nandini,
I just finished watching the episode and I completely agree with all your highlighted points but the last one spoke to me the most! I agree that people are different and perceptions are different as well!

I am glad the "shorty" refused and we also got to see a sense of remorse when he sees "ex-fatty" with some handsome hunk! 😆

I am glad Rishta.com portrays life as real and as raw as possible! No preachiness(I doubt if that's a word...but oh well) and no presumptions just plan old human emotions!

Nandini, I love your Moments of the Day topics, you so nicely sum up the whole epi.

I loved all the moments you've noted, especially RoSha's shower scene, Rohan's interaction with the plumber and Huzeifa's/Ruchika's/Sally's ipod fiasco.
* Rohan asking Isha for a hairbrush...hehe...mera hairbrush?...*Rohan, raised eyebrows and an is-that-even-a-question look*...kisi ka bhi chalega...😎
The part I loved the most about that scene was when Rohan starts picking hair strands from the brush with a look of 'what the hell is this?' on his face LOL
The other part I just found hilarious was when Mahesh gets up to leave Rohan also gets up to shake his hand only to hear a lil grunt from Mahesh and Rohan abidingly sits down to do the duty easier!
