Written Update 17th Jan

I didn't find the update for 10^th Jan epi so I thought I'll do the update for the 17^th Jan epi…😊😊

The episode started good 5 minutes😡 (Pyaar Ka Bandhan was telecasted at 8:55pm) late n I was going mad for all those 5 minutes🤢

The epi kick starts with all the NBC officers in the court. The prosecutor & Wasims advocate are questioning Inspector Jagdale n Wasim about the day he got arrested and Wasim acts as if he doesn't know anything. He puts all the blame on Rajesh saying that Rajesh had taken him and he had no idea about what Rajesh was upto nor does he know about the heroin. Pinto n the others who were arrested by NBC are also present in the court. The prosecutor tries hard to convince the judge that they have a link with Naved Ansari. The judge is unconvinced n he calls both the advocates n tells the public prosecutor that he has no time to waste discussing Naved n his men n whether he has any solid proof, he also tells that he has piles of files to be done. Wasims advocate is very happy. The court is adjourned for lunch. All the officers and the public prosecutor are seen in the canteen discussing Wasims case. Usmaan asks Jagdale from where he got the info about those people who were arrested with Pinto but Jagdale is unwilling to give information. The prosecutor tells him that we have to do something or else Wasim will be let off . Usmaan & Co force him & then Jagdale speaks out that one of the person who was arrested by NCB was Rajeshs cousin n Rajesh felt so n concluded the same. Here Naved, his right hand( I cant recollect his name) & his advocate are in a hotel. Naved asks the lawyer if Wasim will get bail to which he says that he shud get it. The scene shifts to the courtroom where Wasim is granted bail. Wasim & Co are very happy & the NCB officers are disappointed.. 😔😔 A girl is walking with an Arab n the Arab meets someone n they discuss about some consignment. The Arab is worried if it will reach properly. The girl is listening to them & in some thought. The Arab comes to her n tells her that he will meet her again. Scene shifts to Mahendra waking & a lady coming n sitting near him. She is Vidya, Kartiks wife(Thank God for us MahiDa fans)Kartik joins the too. She asks them about last nights dinner n they have a small chat. After a while Vidya goes from there n Kartik teases Mahendra about Julie😕…Usmaan is in the office and his boss(Sorry cant remember his name too) is frustrated with the fact that Customs name has appeared before NCB's in the newspapers. He asks Usmaan who gave the interview & Usmaan says as usual the Customs. The boss says he wants to speak to the Customs but Usmaan stops him saying that he himself had told them to do so coz he was out of manpower at that time and had to agree to it. The boss then tells Usmaan to keep the Naved Ansari case on hold and concentrate on some other cases. Usmaan is baffled. His boss tells him that the year is coming to an end and the government wants the quantity and not the quality. The need of the hour is to fill files. Here Mahendra n Brinda are arguing☺️. Mahendra says that after she has joined Usmaan Sir can see no one besides her…They are about to fight that Kartik alerts them about Usmaan coming. An agitated Usmaan tells them what all was discuused with him in the boss's cabin & since the year is ending they need to do something n increase the number of captured Powder to show the government. He tells Mahendra n Brinda to be together in the mission but Brinda denies saying that she doesn't want to work with Mahendra since he doesn't trust her, Mahendra interrupts saying that even he isn't interested in working with her n she almost led him to wrong paths during the last operation. Usmaan is angry n asks them if they are kids n even if they are he is in no mood of baby sitting them😆😆. He then pauses n tells them to go on their own as he wants to see who outdoes the another. Brinda is then seen with a neuter who happens to be her informer. She tells Brinda that the powder which came yesterday is in the slums n shows Brinda the direction. She asks Brinda how much she wants to catch to which Brinda replies "All" The informer tells her they will die of hunger if she does that to which Brinda tells her that she needs all n hands over some money to her.. Brinda goes n attacks the slum areas from where she captures a huge amount of powder hidden in cricket balls, fish n medicine bottles. On the other hand Mahendra is seen with an officer at the Container base. He has some list in his hand . The officer tells him that there are loads of containers and it is really difficult to tell which one is containing powder and that he has a tough task ahead. Mahendra goes about checking the containers and stops at a particular one.. Here Naved is talking to Wasim n tells him that he shudnt have done such a stupid thing to which Wasim asks for forgiveness. Then Naved tells him about how he made it to the business many years ago. Wasim tells Naved that Rajeshs death was a bad thing which happened n Naved replies in the affirmative. Wasim tells Naved that Usmaan told him that Naved got Rajesh killed, to which Naved replies that Usmaan is trying to create conflicts bet the 2 of them by saying such things. He asks Wasim what else Usmaan told him Wasim tells him he told him that Naved used to work as an informer for Usmaann also remembers the toy which he had given Wasim. Naved says that Usmaan has a habit of luking back. Naved tells Wasim that he doesn't want him to become another Naved n that's why he has decided to send him to Pune. He also tells him that the business now is not like yesteryears. Now all the business takes place over there. He points out to the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange ) Building. Scene shifts to the container base where the officer tells Mahendra that if powder is not found in the container then the client who owns the container can put claim on them, a person is drilling the container n Mahendra is watching the same, Loads of powder falls from inside the container, Mahendra is delighted n the officer is perplexed. In the NCB quarters Usmaan n others are having a look at MahiDa's achievement. 👏👏Usmaan looks at some papers n tells everybody that Mahendra has seized more quantity but Brinda isn't too back either👍🏼. He congratulates both of them n asks them if now atleast they can sample it together. All others leave except MahiDa😍😍. Mahendra is smiling continuously n Brinda asks him whats making him smile so much😉. Mahendra tells her that he is very happy today coz he has outdone her. Brinda tells him from a situation n place where u have come it was obvious for you to join NCB but for a woman like me who had many options than to join NCB, n where she has joined and that's makes her feel good but a male chauvinist like him would never understand that. All this while Mahendra is quietly listening to Brinda & as she finishes he asks her what Male Chauvinist is😆😆. Brinda is quiet(Way to go girl, Mahi deserves it) .. The same girl who was with the Arab is seen in a taxi , she pays to the taxi driver n gets off, Brinda boards the same taxi. and as she is about to leave she sees Mahendra with that girl. She tells the Taxi driver to take the taxi near Mahendra. As they reach she asks Mahendra that he was saying he would be going late or else they would go together. Seeing the girl she asks Mahendra if he wont introduce her. Mahendra reluctantly introduces the girl as Julie to Brinda n vice versa. Brinda asks him if she is the same one Kartik speaks about n Mahendra says Yes. Brinda leaves from there. Mahendra tells Julie that Brinda just works with him n nothing else to which Julie replies saying that she hasn't asked for any explanation from him. Back home Brinda is welcomed by 3 guests at her house😒 😒 (who have obviously come for a marriage proposal), a guy named Vaibhav n his parents. Vaibhav seems to be friend of Brinda. They ask her about her work. Brinda asks Vaibhav for how much time he is there to which he replies about 6-7 days. Brinda tells him that they should meet up some other day as she is very tired today. Her mother coaxes her to have dinner with them but Brinda refuses telling her to send it to her room. Here Mahendra is seen with Julie n he thanks her for giving him the information about the container filled wid Powder. Julie tells him that she is not doing it for him but for herself. She then asks Mahendra how Raghav(I hope this is his name lol I cant remember) is in Jail to which Mahendra says he is OK n asks her if they can talk some other thing. Julie asks him if he doesn't like her speaking about Raghav to which Mahendra says Yes…

Scene shifts to NCB HQ where Usmaan n Kartik are talking. Usmaan is talking about following govt orders to which Kartik tells him that we will do the work in our duty hours n work on the Naved Ansari case off duty hours. Usmaan is taken aback at Kartiks

Talk n he asks him Think about it You are the only one who is happily married out here to which Kartik replies that Vidya is very understanding. So Usmaan hands over a file to Kartik n gives him some details about Naved Ansari n tells him to keep this to himself..

Episode ends….

Overall a nice epi like always. Powder excels on all fronts.That scene with Mahendra on the bike n a girl behind him didn't feature in todays epi. All of us are actually waiting for it…😳
