Well, yea, winnin or not winnin raffles, lucky draws, wheel of fortune, etc depends on your luck. You can't apply any logic there and you don't have any choice other than going with your instinct there.
Whoa, sounds like luck is highly in your favor. Only the lucky ones can hit jackpots like that. 😆

@your last statement: Yup, if you believe that whatever happens happens for good and have an optimistic outlook towards things, then definitely you're bound to find good luck even in the worst of your luck.

What I detest is when folks put the blame of bad things happening in their lives on luck and give the credit to their wise choices for good things happening in their lives.
Yes I understand. Generally all of us should put in the effort and not depend on luck.
Sometimes the lives of certain people are quite terrible and I find no explanation.
Some families seem to be so unfortunate as I knew a guy whose mum had jumped down and committed suicide. The father then became a vegeteranian hoping to appease the Gods, but after some time one of his brothers too committed suicide the same way.
Perhaps it is some psychological problem. They are a middle income family and the father runs an eatery.

It again comes down to their choices. Like they say, everything in life is a choice with consequences. There must've been definitely something better in store for them if they hadn't killed themselves. Since they did, the grief of losing them one after another hovered around the father's life as bad luck.

On another note, committing suicide is extremely selfish and it's for losers who don't have the guts to confront life.

Yes suicide is sinful but then not everyone is so mentally strong.
Some older people who do not find a pupose in living or have lost the will to live so they often pass away through "natural" causes. Yet there are some who are vitually vegetables and yet hang on a few years more.

Personally, when I think back on my past now, I can see that I ended up where I am today based on my choices and some truly important decisions. That handful of choices molded me into the person I am today.
Luck is always on your favor if you want it to be. And if you're always grumpy about how things turn out and only lookin at the darker side of things, ignoring the brighter one, luck won't be in your favor.
How about stop blaming things on luck/fate and exert yourself to try to actively improve things that you're unhappy about? Coz at the end of the day, God (the force/luck) helps those who help themselves.

True! 😆

But MS, don't tell me that you don't believe luck does play a part in everyday life. I've seen it happening so many times, even with me, that I cannot NOT believe in it!

Luck isn't a force actually. It would only take you as far true. You've got to make decisions and work behind them. But I can't help thinking how lucky I've been in so many of the things that have happened to me till now. Some things in life are just behind your control. You really can 'work' on them, only get lucky enough. Also, it is true that some people are more lucky than others, it's not only our Imran Khan movie which proves it, you can see it so much around you at times. Some people have their lives set up on pure luck.

Personally, I think a tinge of luck does get you whole steps forward in life. If you're work, you get far, true... But if you're lucky enough, you'll get further than far, simple... 😉
