Her behaviour seems puzzling though because she is known to be a frank and brave person when it comes to confronting any issues....

I agree with you, lakshk. In fact, you know what I think? On their honeymoon, I bet Kavya and Sori made a deal... Kavya probably said, "As my husband, how can you keep a friendship/relationship with someone I don't like and someone who's disrespected me (Ram)? When you see him next, I demand that you cut all ties with him. You must say (and angrily scream) exactly what I want you to say to him." Sori probably responded, "OK, using your logic... as my wife, how can you keep a relationship with people I don't like and people who've disrespected me (your parents)? I'll cut off all ties with Ram for you ONLY if you cut off all ties with your parents." In the heat of the moment (and probably seeing no other way to resolve this Ram issue), Kavya probably agreed to this deal.

That's probably why, once she saw her parents, she was so emotionally torn. She probably thought that if she broke her part of the deal, Sori would break his part of the deal and go back to being friends with Ram.

Welcome to IF and TMS forum Accakaari...may be what usay is true...It might have happened...but still I don't think I being a girl can insult my parents...I probably would dump my husband and get back to my parents if he keeps this kind of condition(Luckily my husband is such a sweetie pie and he respects my parents a lot)......

Welcome to the forum, Accakaari! I agree with you, Kavya must have done this deal with Sori that he will kick out Ram if she stays away from her parents. I really feel like shaking some sense into Sori's head - and mess up his hairstyle in the process.

Your guess seems to make some logic.....
Yes it was not proper to insult her parents but to ensure her marriage works, having Ram around was a bigger problem for Kavya at this moment with a selfish husband like Sori,
and Kavya may have thought that knowing her parents love her, she would be able to explain to her parents later and ask them to forgive her.....
We'll have to wait and see how the director has planned the serial to go on....
