Good theory yuvika.. but one more angle is that, it can be Baa also who killed Arjan and removed the finger prints...she least expeceted Santu to reveal in front of the family that she killed her banevilal.. Baa knew what had happened between DM-Arjan and thast why she is protective to Santu.

As some one sed i think suraj must have killed him coz he saw Arjan him dm so he killed him by accident and in for him santo takes da blame on herself and I fink afta 9 years leap and suraj grows he might tell the truth or he myt get into a shock for some reason and he will come out the shock nine years later and that is when everyone will know the truth about santo being innocent.
