hold it guys before u think something...let me tell you that what i am writing and not pulling down CID in any case...

guys SS is one of the best shows in tv history...i think it is the only show who has beaten CID in so many years. CID has been still receiving award in the thriller category in all the functions but in 2005, SS beat CID by taking the best show in thriller in ITA awards...isn't tht great? the whole CID team was there including shivaji satam ji and i could see his expression when announced the award for best thriller show...he became quite surprised😆😆 anyways CID is at its best now..but SS made it really fantastic😛😛

SS was in a different league from CID....CID cases are not really adhering to reality, and SS was mostly based on forensic stuff which made it believable!

more than that CID doesnt have any emotional content, its rests on cases only where as in SS we get a chance to glance at the officers lives.

Agree.... Even in departments not everyone can be so tough and outright bent only on duty... You do have social elements haggering you like they showed in few episodes of SS... It showed the crime also as realistic, because most of the crimes happen on the spur of moment, emotionally and not as much planned always!

Yes, I agree. Unfortunately, the quality of CID has gone down exponentially over the past few years....but it'll bounce back, you'll see. It is very unrealistic but still it's good. I don't think you really can compare CID and SS. It's very unfortunate that SS didn't last that long.😭😭
