Mostly all indian soaps revolve around female lead characters.......but lately they are showing them so weak.......I watch a couple of soaps....bidaai.....choti bahu....YRKKH....and almost all of them have these so sweet so caring so loving....god sent angel.....sati savitri....... lead actress...they take abuse after abuse after abuse from family, husbands and enemies...............No one has a backbone................what century are we living in???......ya its great to show "sati savitri" type of characters to audiance in this day and age....but doesn't mean they have to be so weak that they can't even fight for themselves.........its getting lame..........I think that gives a wrong message to the public.............cause believe it or not......a lot of watchers do take things seriously.........and "taking abuse" should not be a message...if so many people follow these shows............I remember soaps like Devi, Kasamh Se and Banoo mein teri Dulhann and biggest Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo..........now those had female lead characters with a backbone.........They stayed silent when it was needed and spoke for their rights when it was needed.............whats going on now a days???
