@nishr: Agree with you, I also want Sulochana to admit to Manav that it was her mistake and at the same time explain to him her point of view... I want to see some bonding btw the two of them cos these are the two people Archu loves more than her life.. she won't be happy unless both of them are happy with each other... plus Sulochana is not really bad, would like to see her pampering and even defending Manav the way she does with Archu (cos no one pampers or defends poor Manav) , this is the behavior that in my opinion he rightfully deserves... he tried hard to be a son for the family, so she shud be a good MIL if not a mother to him.

Manav is just a perfect guy. i said before that we have seen Tulsi, Parvati before. But in PR, male lead is better than female if not equal..........
But yes, no one cares for Manav more than Archu.......

I agree with all of you on how great Manav is and how lucky Archana and family are to have him, and I don't think I can add anything to that.
What I can add is that, I wish they had shown this scene in sequence when ArMan were together. I really didn't think that they were this close and open with each other. I knew that they were slowly becoming comfortable with each other, but this is just a different level in my opinion. Also, after seeing this it made it even more unbelievable that Archana doubted and left Manav so easily. I always thought that Archana finally realized how much she loved Manav the day before the Satyanarayan pooja/separation when she was spilling it all out to Manav, and that was why she could turn back on it so quickly as if it were a just a hallucination. Now it seems like she realized it earlier and really trusted Manav, so that creates a bit of a dilemma for me as to how she turned on Manav then. Oh well, I guess I can't expect all of that logic in a show. 😆
No wonder Archana couldn't forget Manav, who could forget a man like that?
I really liked this topic/discussion by the way. You make really nice, well thought out posts.

You bring up an excellent point! I was also under the same understanding they only had had a month of living together and that they had gotten emotionally close the night before the satyanarayan pooja. This really does contradict the entire storyline. But you're right since when have hindi serials made any logical sense?
Lets just hope they don't show a suhaag raat type closeness in flashback :-P

I am waiting for the day when Solochana apologise to Manav, I can never forget that episode when she labelled him as 'charatreen' characterless man! I think its a far fetched dream to even think that Solochana will realise the value of Manav, did she even thank him when Sol ai found out that Manav saved Varsha from her boss' waywards ways?!

@toothbrush13: The scene seemed a little too bold on Archu's part... especially cos Archana herself leaned on Manav's chest... he had a confused look for a moment as if he wasn't expecting it, then he hugged her back... just like he had hugged her once when she had been crying... she talked about kids and he got nervous again... point is Archana seemed much too open... this wasn't shown earlier... but yeah Archu had said in the pre-satyanarayan pooja confession that she always felt very comfortable with him... so don't know...

@nikitagmc:
Totally Agree with you. But, Archu has always been more open than Manav. When she went to manavs garage for first time, she wiped manavs sweat with her saree.... And also she was one to say manav not to call her archuJEE and just archana......Plus on pre satyanarayan pooja day,she confessed her love and said she always wanted a husband like him and she always feel secured with him....
Last thing i dont want is creatives showing their suhaagraat in the flashbacks..........
becoz of present situation, we are not enjoying ArMan moments that much although last one was very sweet one...........

AMEN! Say no to 'suhaag raat' in flashbacks. haha, a suhaag raat in flashback means two things. The whole reason this Satyanaryan is so anticipated is because Manav's mom has said they can't sleep in the same bed until it happened. (which is true in Mahrashtrian families, there is usually a Satyanaryan pooja the very next day after the wedding) and they were also going to go on a honeymoon so tons more cute scenes. So I guess this Satyanaryan pooja was signifying them being allowed to become husband and wife in every aspect of it and hopefully not so shy anymore.

Secondly, the suhaag raat would cause more confusion in flashback because everyone was under the understanding that they hadn't gotten very close to each other and were mostly very shy. To the point where they barely said a word to each other. So that's why Archana didn't trust him as much and just went back to her parents place. I this point is already proving to be true with all the confusion that came from the FD/children talk scene.
