At last, we see Ichha reacting--not just standing there looking shocked and surprised. She actually slaps...Veer.
So it took Veer to shake her out of her non-violent, Buddha mode. Not Nani's constant humiliation, not Taps' utterly unjust demands and accusations, not Pushkar's awful behaviour!!!!
Have to say I am shocked!!! Just goes to say what Ichha can do to people who love her and care for her. She can sell them and donate them as if they are consumable items. And if they dare to raise their voice, our noble Ichha will slap them. Who next? Ammo?
And I have never seen a 'naukrani' who has less self-respect. If I treat myhousehold help the way the whole Thakur Khandan treats Ichha, mujhe ghar ka kaam khud hi karna padega. And, here is a padhi likhi ladki who accepts this without a single protest, as if it is her duty. Wake up Ichha! This is 21st century India, and we don't live in a feudal kingdom anymore. You should do your bit to spread awareness, instead of accepting such demeaning role. There is a difference between being a house help and being a slave. Ichha dear, slavery was abolished a long time back and is a crime, just in case you don't know it. Or, is it one of your many ideals?
To the Uttaran team, I have only one thing to say, theirs is one of the most regressive shows on air right now ðŸ˜
