"Karan Singh Grover will not talk to press on personal life"

Everyone knows that TV hunk Karan Singh Grover had a sudden split with wife, Sharddha Nigam and this news became the talk of the town. He is nearly invisible on Dill Mill Gayye, the show that made him a household name, but Karan Singh Grover prefers to keep the media away from his personal life.

About the issue, he spoke in a recent interview, "Our break-up wasn't ever in the pipeline but it happened and both of us have come to terms of it. Sharddha and I still talk, we are friends."

So then, why does he shy away from commenting on his relationship status? "The actor defends by saying the reasons for their break-up were only meant for their parents and close family to know. We cannot sort out our life in the press. Shraddha did not issue a statement ever, keeping the sanctity of our relationship in mind. She did not wash dirty linen in public, nor did I. As a public figure, you have to understand that everyone wants to know how and why we broke-up. We can't feed their discussions, right?"

And what about Dill Mill Gayye?

"A lot of the older interns are still there in the show. In the last few months, I haven't shot much of it and I don't know if I will ever return to this show."

karan's personal life is his own... media just streches it too bloody far... all i care for is his acting skills which are phenomenal... m still with ya armaan :P

its karan's life, media should not interfere in it
I don't care about his personal life, he is an awesome actor and thats what matters the most

Its karans personal matter -- seriously, i m kind off fed up wid productions interferance... if they are ok wid the break up then ppl should stop puttn their nose in it...

I mean ... T.v/ production should get a life... 'They arent happy with the likng he(karan) is gettng from public and they use different / awfull ways to make us hate him... but loyal fans... will remain fans... which surely counts me in it..

I was his fan and i will be his fan though -- i wish -- i meann i die to see him in DMg... but the final decision is his... and i be der in anny way to support u as ur fan...

I'm neither for nor against Karan and I do respect those that say they are only concerned with his on screen persona.
However, it does bug me when I see a swarm of ladies run to his defense via comments and replies on youtube and on IF after every controversy. The truth is no matter how much we know about actors through the 3 minutes of saas bahu aur saazish it will never be enough to defend someone's actions during a lifetime. Especially when we've never met the actor in question.
