I really hope it isn't..
Amit's role is the cliched dull good boy act..
Swayam's role is so much more attractive and originally bad boyish..
I honestly hope he's the main lead..
The chemistry between Swayam and Shraddha is also fascinating..It'd be great to see more developments surrounding them.They make an interesting couple and I'm sure Shraddha will be able to tame him..=D
It's good for the plot development as well..
I'm quite sure his obsession with finding her is not just because she humiliated him..He doesn't realise that he's also attracted to her, it's prolly why he's desperately looking for her..>.>
That's my take.
Either that or he may pretend to love her, marry her for the property and give her a hard time, while falling in love with her in the process..>.>

What scares me is that the Telly Buzz articles state that Varun was to play the main lead, on the other hand, the idea could have switched later on due to availibility issues and plot stuff as such..

It's the same character profile as Amit's under the name Swayam..O_o
My take on this is that they heard the lead character would be called Swayam, but at the time the post was written, Swayam hadn't made an appearance, thus confusing the two characters..>_>
Logically speaking, Swayam should be the lead since he had more character development and has room for expansion in the future..
I think the people who wrote the character profile for Swayam back then, weren't aware that he was a different character and was to make an appearance only later on in the Serial..D:
Strangely almost all the forums have screwed up his name and Bio, possibly since they haven't updated the cast profiles from the start..

hello now i finally find this confusion solution: the real name of swayam is "BARON SOBTI" this is his first appearence in tv n confusion was created cause of the sur name . actually amit real name is VARUN SOBTI. so sobti is creating problem.....
