Thakur's family members

I have started watching the serial just recently. I know Thakur has his mother, his wife, his elder brother's (dead?) his children....where is elder Bhabhi and who is Shobona, supposed to be his brother's wife, where is that brother? It seems everybody knew what went on the thekdi how come except his wife? Waiting for your reply, love Tin
