SanRaj Moments We wish For (Updated pg 49) - Page 14

As requested by dishum, a scene following on from the fashion show. Hope you like it yaar.

And please excuse the grammatical errors in the hindi bits. It is not my first language, and I understand it better than I speak it!

The fashion show was finished, and all the guests had left. The family, tired and happy with their success retired to their respective rooms for the night.

Santu opened the wardrobe and pulled out the jewellery box. She went to the dressing table and started to take off her jewellery, placing them carefully in the box one by one. DM walked into the room and watched her for a few minutes.

He gave a small cough to clear his throat. Santu turned around upon hearing it.

'Aye chokri, have you seen my wife anywhere?'

Santu looked at him puzzled, her hands stopping at the back of her neck where she was just about to take her sitahar off. What was malik asking she wondered?

'Malik main tho apki samne hi hoon'. (I am in front of you). DM shook his head.

'Malik I don't know what it is you are asking. I'm right here in front you. 'Aap ka tabiyat to teek hai na?' (You are feeling OK aren't you?)

DM twirled his moustache and his eyes shone bright.

'You can't be my wife. My wife always wears her pallu over her right shoulder at the front. And she never has her hair open, and it is always covered. So you can't be my Santudi'.

Santu was now completely baffled by DM's behaviour. She creased her brows and looked at him more confused than ever. DM took a few steps closer to her and cupped her face.

'Duffor, I'm trying to say that you are looking very beautiful today. When you came dressed like that in front of me today, at first I didn't even recognise you'.

Santu blushed and nervously started fidgeting with her pallu.

'Your hair looks lovely open like this, and it is nice to see you wearing your saree differently. And waah! You moved down the catwalk with some style and grace'. He turned one hand in the air to express his sentiments. Santu smiled. So that was his meaning. For a minute she had thought that something really had happened to him.

'Woh Toral ki CD mein jo models thi na? (Those models in Torals CD?) Compared to you they all look like a bunch of matakali's'! DM, noticing her playing with her pallu, gently pulled it out of her clutch as his fingers brushed against hers.

Santu laughed at his comment and was pleased that malik was so pleased.

'Agar aap ko achha laga sab kuch, then it was all worth it. (As long as you liked everything...)

DM merely hmmed, with a small smile. Sticking his hands in his kurta pockets he said

'OK, go get changed. It's very late'. Santu nodded and they both turned in the opposite direction. Suddenly Santu felt herself being pulled backwards and toppling. She closed her eyes instinctively as she anticipated hitting the ground. Instead she felt herself fall backwards into something softer but firm. She opened her eyes, and found herself in the arms of and gazing into the brown eyes of her husband.

For a few moments, the two were stunned and mesmerised by the close proximity of the other. Slowly DM lifted her back onto her feet. And only then did they see what had caused her to fall back like that. The end of her pallu was nestling in the pocket of DM's kurta. He had inadvertently pulled her back. DM looked sheepish. Santu merely smiled, turned and walked back to the wardrobe.

Plzzzzzzzz CV of BANDINI listen r requests get all mind-blowing sequences from here & add all this in the show & plzzzzzzzzzzzz don't make SUNRAJ in boring couple guys.

RAKHI can u rewrite that sequence where DM asks SANTU that "where she will sleep is there not her bad on floor? Then SANTU go to sit on the bad & lights off".
