conflicting statements of Rani and Hitesh

I remember Sudesh rani once said after Pooja dumped Hitesh "Rumpa toh mujhe shuru se pasand thi lekin phir maine hitesh ka jhukao pooja ki taraf dekha to mein bhi khamosh ho gayee"

ya hitesh was kind of intersted in Rumpa but gulabo liked pooja and wanted hitesh to know her instead of rumpa, but doesn't hitesh have mind of his own. His mom liked pooja so he went for her and than when she dumped him than he went for rumpa and gulabo didn't have any choice but to go for rumpa, I wonder what whould gulabo do if rumpa was not in competition, i guess she would choose gurpreet because gulabo wants to win the show by hook or crook.
