time and time again some or other controversy arises when one of the singer gets eliminated.i think there are many loopholes in conducting this programme.
first and foremost, the candidates and mentors should not be divided in to seperate groups which is one of the cause of this chaos.all mentors should be neutral and act just like judges.they shuold not support or oppose any candidate.afterall this is not an election where one supports a particular group.the way mentors fight with each other is not a good sight to watch.music composers of such stature should behave with some responsibility keeping in mind that entire india is watching them.they are role models and inspiration for many young aspirants but the way they behave is not of that high standard.himesh supports vinit even if he sings badly on that day.himesh gets emotional very often.i think he should support vinit because he is a good singer but he should not hype him so much.comming to ismail darbar,he creates uneccessary controversies.and finally, adesh,i think he is the best among the three.
second backlog in this programme is electing the winners by sms which is a copy of indian idol.they should have choosen another better option.because as tabu said today ,the viewers in the south are very less compared to other parts of india.only small percent of people of southern states living in big cities watch this type of programmes.so the chance of hemachandra getting good percent of votes is less compared to other two contestants.though he got majority in south, the percentage may have been increased if he belonged to other part where television viewership is more compared to southern states.even if the organisers go along with sms stratergy, they should not allow someone to vote as many times as he likes.3rs may not be a big factor for one who have lot of money but it may be an important factor for ordinary or middle class viewers.
so the best way to decide the winner is by adding the points each contestant got from the starting episode.the one who gets more points is the winner.the winner selected by this system is clearly a true winner because that shows his consistency throught the series.but it is too late to do like that.it would have been a good option if mentors and contestants were not divided in to seperate groups and mentors just acted neutrally.but now, when they are seperated in to groups, this type of selection of winner may lead to controversy.
SO THE BEST WAY TO END,ATLEAST IN THE FINAL THREE STAGE IS,to invite some good and respected judges who has great musical knowledge.people like subhash gai, ilayaraja,sp balasubramanyam, hariharan who are great music lovers and and who has great music knowledge and importantly who will not be biased shuold be given the responsibility of selecting the winner based upon final performance.this will be a fair result to all contestants.
but,i think it is all over and one more talented singer, hemachandra, got eliminated because of many loopholes.the same thing happened to nihira, who was a very good singer with a great voice.
only thing we can do now is to feel sorry for all talented singers who didnt got a fair result they deserved.
