I have to start with an apology to the 'lucky beasts' . . . this asynchrony between the airing of episodes across the globe is disconcerting and I understand you not wanting to be dragged back in time (hey . . . look at the bright side, at least you're not kicking and screaming! 😊 ), so I beg your indulgence . . .
Just saw the episode that ends with the appearance of a person who is decidedly 'no kool' . . . but up to that point, it was sheer magic . . . there MUST be a crime for ANYBODY to be so horrendously cute!! I don't know how fast Simi's heart was racing, but mine was just a sliver shy of Mach 1 . . . anymore of this & I'm headed straight for an irreversible cardiac arrest . . . nor is Abhi's being serious 'eye candy' good for my health . . . cannot handle all that sweetness . . . especially since I'm pre-diabetic 😆
But the 'roses and kittens' stuff refers to all the little things that caught my attention . . . I'm not the self-anointed 'Queen of Trivia' for nothing y'know . . . yesterday's episode was just chock-full . . . here's what I loved:
Simi's imperceptible glance over her shoulder to see what her peripheral vision showed about Dad's reaction to an advancing Abhi . . . arms outstretched (he coulda hugged her I think . . . all he had to do was a 'Oh Simi-di how are you?')
His heart-rendingly evil smile as he walks past her and a flick of his eyebrows "Hah! Fooled ya!"
His turning around after the 'obligatory' hug of Mr. Sethi to face her, then winking with that barely noticeable toss of the head . . . 'Well . . . how you like 'dem apples . . . Simi?'
His folded arms as he beams and beams at her . . . daring her to look him in the eyes . . . he's gotta cool it I think . . . she's not going to able to do much if he continually incinerates her with his looks . . .
Anita's surreptitious handing of the cash to Anuj 'Yuck! This will surely pollute me! I'm not used to such chump change'
Abhi with his arm on Anuj's shoulder and his finger between his teeth . . . and then that sexy sidling over to play 'handsies'
Simi imploring him to let go . . . 'cut it out - you cannot do this!!' . . . 'oh yeah? watch me!' . . .
Mr. 'No Kool' walking into the room with his hand on Abhi's back . . .
Mr. 'No Kool' eyeing the room, sizing up 'these people' 😕 What are the Dagar's supposed to be - 'aristocracy' or just plain vanilla 'landed gentry'?
