LOl i came a cross this AD and thought it was interesting...

When you watch this schmaltzy ad, you slowly come to the realization that the theme is, "If your epidermis isn't white enough, the man of your dreams will never love? you."

its so sad that priyanka herself is doing this! well i know that there is more bolly actresses who has done a Ad like this and etc..but its still so sad that indian actresses are doing Ads like this..priyanka is dark, and she should be proud of it instead of going and participating in a AD which make your skin white..she should be proud of her skin color, because girls look up to her😕🥱

OMG the AD is ridiculous..its actually racism😲

I was extremely disappointed when I found out that she did this ad. It is horribly offensive. Thank god its not airing on television anymore. All fairness cream ads are bad but this one really takes the cake. It was just a BAD BAD move. I am glad she isn't endorsing the product anymore.

ya really, its offensive...if your not white your lover wont love you😕 its offensive to whomen with dark skin..no wonder why whomen take surgery and etc!

Well, I'm not gonna justify this just cuz I'm a huge PC fan. I am quite disappointed that she did this ad. I find fairness creams really weird! It's like they're trying to say that if you're not light then you won't be appreciated! I'm against fairness creams myself! But I think PC did speak about this ad in an interview or something. I can't remember which one or what she said, but she did speak about it.

It's strange how those with light skin in the Western world want to be dark, but people with dark skin in the Eastern world want to be fair. We all always want what we don't have.

She didn't say that, but that is what the ad implies. All fairness creams peddle the same idea - i.e. if you have a darker skin tone the guy you like won't love you, you won't be successful in your career, you'll never get married etc. etc. It is quite sickening.

I detest these fairness creams ads. They get on my nerves!! I think all celebrities should be more responsible and think twice before endorsing such products. I'm sure that there are fans out there that will take it seriously and can lead to them developing a complex.

God, can't we get over the whole light skin fascination? If a person is born with fair skin, that's fine. But to try and change yourself is ridiculous. And dusky looks are quite attractive. Bipasha Basu and Nandita Das come to mind...
