As there was no update for 21st Nov update, and I was currenly watching it, I thought why not to post an update 😊
Episode starts with welcome of Rani, and Shiamak says Rani is looking like a sweet barbie doll 😆
First Match (Group Dances): Western Yodha's vs. Central Soorma's
Shiamak's assigned task: Variable Speeds
First match will be between Central Soorma's and Western Yodhas. AV is shown of the two teams. Shaimak has given these two teams the task of variable speeds, meaning they have to dance slow and fast as per how the music will change. Minnie says she would love to be the first one to defeat the WY. She also mentions that the WY have played well by not allowing their weak contestants to come forward 😕
1) Western Yodha's perform first and they are all dressed in yellow and purple bhangra outfits and dance to the song 'Rang De Basanti'. The song starts off fast and goes super slow and super fast alternately. WY perform great as usual with lots of energy and good coordination.
Comments: Shiamak says this task is not an easy one as you have to catch the beat when the music transitions from fast to slow. He says WY were wonderful. Rani admires Karthik's performance and says the way his 'mundi' shook was amazing 😆
Karthik asks Rani if she will do bhangra with him and she agrees. First time on DPL, Rani comes on stage and does bhangra with Karthik. She was excellent and really had full energy. (She even kicked her shoes into the air at one point 😆) Shiamak tells Rani that he gives her a Hadippa 6'er 😛
2) Central Soorma's perform next and all are wearing professional clothes with white shirt and ties and black pants. They dance to the song 'Duniya ka Nara' from Taare Zameen Par. Their starting formation is excellent and they have a lot of different parts in the dance. IMO coordination could have been a biiit better though. But otherwise they were excellent.
Both teams come on stage...
Hussain asks Harshal Vithal to name the 3 strongest dancers on their team. HV say 'Prashant, Kartik, and Santosh'. Minnie says her 3 strongest dancers are 'Prachi, Tejas, and Ankita'.
Rani says both the performances today were 'phadoo'. Shiamak also complments both choreographers on their coordination in the assigned task.
Rani gives Shiamak a rasgulla because he's so happy today 😆 Shiamak says rasgulla was a little less sweet, but she is more sweet 😉

All coaches give them a 6, and Rani gives a 6 as well

Total is now WY leading with 78, and CS with 74. Man of the match is deciding factor and Rani gives man of the match to Karthik and Vishal from WY, so with 84 runs Western Yodha's are declared winners once again!
Second Match: Eastern Tigers vs. Southern Sizzlers
(Previous episode SS gained 43 runs and ET gained 34 runs)
Shiamak's assigned task: Levitation
AV is shown of what the teams have to say to each other. Uma Gaiti say that if they had rank S.S. they would rank them as #2, but this is excluding the choreographers, and solely based on the team. Swaroop says he thinks ET are the weakest team on the show 😕 He says their choreography pattern is repetitive and their strength is only contemporary based.
1) Eastern Tigers perform first. They dance to the song 'Aaj dil gustakh hai'. They choose a theme of drunk driving and 4 of the contestants are shown drinking and then do a contemporary piece and get into the car prop and car is shown to crash and the 4 contestants are shown unconcious. Rest of the 4 contestants come down on hanging ribbons from ceiling. Some more contemporary moves where now the unconcious contestants revive and the 4 on floor dance under the 4 on ceiling. Then the 4 contestants go back to the car and are unconcious again and Pratap(who was hanging before) comes down from his levitation and he revives the one guy in the car who wakes up and sees rest of the 3 friends in the car are dead.
Excellent concept and wonderful execution 👏
Comments: Harshal(from W.Y) is very impressed with the dance and says its amazing how the 4 people who were in levitation were up there hanging for eternity. He admires their arm strength and he also thought Pratap had fallen down at the end but when he revived the guy in the car, he loved the ending. Mallu (from U.P) admires how they projected the concept with dance.
Rani says the performance was outstanding and the concept was beautiful. She admires how Deepu, Onthoripa (sry dnt know to spell it), and Mona Lisa danced today. Rani feeds Uma Gaiti rasgulla's as well. Rani asks Onthoripa to say something and gives her love to her people of Assam and also says some more sweet things. Sharmi also says some things for the people of Calcutta and asks Rani to say that Eastern Tigers are best. Rani says ET were 'phata phati'. 😃
2) Southern Sizzlers perform next. They dance to the song Khalbali hai Khalbali from RDB. Good dance. Lots of stuff in it. 3 guys are on bottom with bungee cords attached and go up and down on slanted boards. Two guys are above..Vijay and Nanda I think..who are levitated and hanging from ribbons. Later they all come down and dance. Good energy but coordination was a little off.
Both teams come onto the stage.
Rani says the Southern Sizzlers have given good competition to ET today. Rani says ET were outstanding today. Shiamak says he absolutely agrees with what Rani has said.
Uma Gaiti say their 3 strongest dancers are Vinaisha, Vishay, and Mona Lisa. Swaroop and Nagendra name their 3 strongers dancers as Nanda, Dharak, and Bindu.
Hussain asks Rani to tell who is man of the match first. She gives it to Onoripa from ET. She is very surprised and happy.
Rani also gives the +1 ikka to both teams.
Scores for Eastern Tigers:
Harshal/Vithal, Howard, and Pappu Mallu give 6, Mini gives 4
Rani gives ET a 6 (plus the 1 from the ikka...so total 7)
Scores for Southern Sizzlers:
Harshal/Vithal and Mini give 4, Howard and Pappu Mallu give 6
Rani gives S.S a 6 as well (plus the 1 from the ikka..so total 7)
Southern Sizzlers win the match with total of 74 and ET lose with total of 63.
*Shiamak says that Uma Gaiti are the finest choreographers he has seen. He also says that while he is happy the S.S finally won a match, he thinks the Eastern Tigers performance was 10 times better than the Southern Sizzlers. He asks Uma Gaiti to choreograph his dance company one day.
Third Match: Uttar ke Puttar vs. Desi Pardesi
(Previous episode U.P scored 43 and D.P scored 45 )
Shiamak's Assigned Task: Running while dancing
AV is shown on what teams have to say about each other. Pappu says Howards team is also versatile. Both teams say that they have dancers of equal value to compete with each other.
Pappu Mallu say their 3 strongers dancers are Chirag, Sadhika, and Dinesh.
1) Uttar ke Puttar perform first. All are wearing pink shirts with overalls and vests and wigs. They dance to the song Sahi bolta.. from Aankhen. Its a funny and cute performance. They really are running all over the stage and have lots of humour in the dance. The lyrics fit aptly saying 'life mein chalte rehne ka 😆. At one point they come to Shiamak's table and act funny with him.
Hussain runs with the contestants and tells them to go back to thier place 😆
Howard says his 3 strongest dancers are Karen, Praveen, Ruel.
2) Desi Pardesi perform next. They dance to the song 'Main hoon jhum jhum jhumroo'. Dance is cute but very low difficulty level and not much in the dance. Ruel was cute in the dance.
Comments: Rani says she thought todays concept was entertaining and she really liked UP's performance as they were very entertaining with the concept. She admires Pappu Mallu and loved the way their team did masti on the stage. Rani said she liked DP performace but she said UP were better today.
*Shiamak says UP were outstanding but he is angry with DP today. He says this is not the level of the show and he has continuously been saying that he needs everyone to come to his level. Shaimak walks out saying the performance was rubbish and he wants a higher level.
Howard says there have been worser performances.
Shiamak comes back saying he does not want to disrespect Howard that is why he is back. Shiamak says he loves Howard but at this stage in the show, there should not be performances like this. Howard tells him that sometimes a performance that is bad in his eyes, is really great in their own eyes. Shiamak says that then they need to improve their standard. Discussion ends but Howard still seems a bit upset.
Scores for UP:
Harshal Vithal and Mini give 4, Uma Gaiti and Nagendra Swaroop give 6.
Rani gives 6'er as well
Scores for DP:
All choreographers give a 4.
Rani gives a 4 as well.
So DP have 65 and UP have 69. Man of the match will be deciding factor. Rani asks to consult Shiamak and then she declares Man of the Match as Karen from DP.
Desi Pardesi win with 71 runs, while UP lose with 69.
And thats the end of the show. Next weeks precap looks interesting. DP come back with a bang and Southern Sizzlers also put fire to the stage. Rani is shown to be against eliminating a team from the show right now, and she also walks out 😆
