Chandni is devastated when she finds out that Manisha has left the apartment and left behind a letter for Chandni telling her to stop looking for her.
Amy calls Sheeba to find out if Chandni has finally met Manisha. At the chawl, Chandni gives Beeji, Manisha's letter and the Matarani pendant that they had made for her. Amy comes to the chawl and tries to lighten up Chandni's mood. Sheeba gives Amy, Bhavna's number. Amy leaves a message for Bhavna in Chandni's name.
Beeji urges Chandni to go with Amy to buy a gift for Smita. Varun organises a surprise for Smita's birthday. The rest of them join in for a birthday get-together. Chandni cheers up. Bhavna calls for Chandni at India Calling but she can't speak to her and gives her Amy's number so she can call her during the break. Kabir gets and abusive caller and for the first time, we hear him lose his temper.
