The entire month had been a frenzy of activity with the marriage preparations taking front seat on everyone's minds. The month had gone by in a blur. Roshni had taken it upon herself to plan the entire thing and as such was issuing orders like a colonel planning a war! She had a schedule for every family member with appointments with designers, hair, makeup, jewelry and what not.

Even on an appointment-free day like this one, Damini is sitting with her sisters and mom discussing what she should do with her hair for the big day. As Rosh and Avni argue about whether an updo is better or a more casual style, Prithvi walks by on his way to the security room. Their eyes meet and they look at each other wistfully for a moment, before looking away. Ila catches this and smiles at her daughter, realizing how Prithvi and Damini have barely spent any alone time since the fateful day when they both said 'Yes'. She knew how Damini was the dutiful daughter, constantly fussing over her mom's health, and the remainder of the time she spent indulging Roshni with the crazy appointments and schedules she had set for her.

Making up her mind, Ila calls out, "Prithvi beta..." When he walks over to stand with them, she says, "Why don't you and Damini go out for a bit. You two have not spent any quality time together since the engagement day, and Damini is so exhausted with all this planning that some fresh air will do her some good." Damini, feeling slightly embarrassed, looks at Prithvi expectantly. He looks at her and says, "Yes, of course'" as a small smile reaches his lips.

This is their first real date. She's fingering the clothes hanging in her closet, and smiles remembering the time he told her that she looks great in traditional clothes, and then her hands touch the green outfit that he had once dared to zip up for her. Smiling a small smile again, she pulls it out and decides to wear it.

He's waiting for her in the living room. As she walks towards him, he remembers the dress and the nerve he had going into her changing room. He quickly looks up from the dress to her face and catches her cheeky smile. He smiles back with a slight shake of his head. Both thinking how in some ways they'd come a long way since then, but in others not much had changed - he was still the same Prithvi, and she still the same Damini.

They get to the restaurant and he holds the door open for her. But someone was walking out. "Prithviii!!" the girl squeals in delight. He looks at her surprised and instant recognition dawns. The pretty girl with sparkling eyes almost jumps in excitement and hugs him tight.

"Arrey Priya...tum yahaan!?" He says, looking very pleasantly surprised.

"Prithvi im sooo happy to see you!! Tum kaise ho? Kahan the?? Pata hai meine tumhe kitna miss kiya! Mein jab Manali vaapas lauti toh tum pata nahin kahan kho gaye!"

"Haan, woh...halat hi kuch aise the ki...." He gives a quick look over at Damini who was standing back, with a slight frown on her face, quietly observing the scene.

Priya quickly interjects with "Koi baat nahin...ab tum mil gaye ho, ab baith ke baatein karenge!!!"

"Haan...err" he says, scratching is head.

Priya is talking again as she gives him a look over and exclaims, "Prithvi tum bilkul nahi badle!" Then putting her hands on his biceps she winks mischievously, saying "Hot as ever!"

At this point, Damini's thin hold on her patience is lost and while all she wants to do is peel this girl off of her man, she instead steps forward, extends her hand with a forced smile and says, "Hi, I'm Damini...I'm with Prithvi." Prithvi looks over at Damini, a little embarrassed, and removes Priya's hands from his arms with an apologetic smile at both.

Damini is very curious to know just who this girl is and how Prithvi knows her so well. With a sweet smile just for Priya, Damini invites her to join them for dinner, and says "tum dono itne din baad mile ho, bahut saari baatein jo karni hain" her smile stiffening as it turns to Prithvi. Prithvi quickly says "But im sure Priya is busy...kisi aur din..." "Of course!!" Priya accepts happily before Prithvi can finish his sentence.

Priya is a very bubbly, spirited girl. And does enough talking at the dinner table to compensate for the strained lack of conversation from the other two at the table. She talks all through dinner, reminiscing animatedly about the good 'ole times she shared with Prithvi.

"Yaad hai Prithvi, jab Ramu kaka ne hum dono ko ghudsawari sikhaai thi?!!! Kitna maza aya tha! Aur tumhe mujhe baar baar girne se bachana pada!"

Damini, with a forced smile, looks very interested in the story, while Prithvi is not sure where to look. Priya and Prithvi were good friends growing up. So she's very comfortable with Prithvi, quite touchy feely as she tells him "Lagta hai tum ab bhi gym jaate ho" with a naughty smile. Prithvi, smiles an embarrassed smile, and tries to keep his arms away from Priya. He doesn't know how to look at Damini but is quite conscious of her stare.

Things progress in a similar fashion, when suddenly Priya exclaims, "Tumhe yaad hai Prithvi, college mein sab sochte the ke hum ek doosre se pyar karte hain!" Prithvi looks like he just ate something really bad. Priya is waiting expectantly for an answer so he mutters,"Err, haan....woh...yaad...hai". Priya looks wistfully at him and says "I really miss those days Prithvi..."

Damini, not able to stand this scene anymore, suddenly places her napkin on the table and stands up. She looks coldly at Prithvi and says, "Mujhe bhook nahin hai. I'm going home. But you guys please carry on. I'm sure bahut sari baatein ab bhi baaki hain."

And she storms out.
