LONDON DREAMS - Asin's first Bollywood film?

If Asin is to be believed, LONDON DREAMS is in fact her first true blue Bollywood assignment. Now this some across as a shocker from someone who has worked with country's most respected actor in the form of Aamir Khan and has the privilege to be a part of an All Time Blockbuster like GHAJINI. With LONDON DREAMS round the corner, why is she suddenly going gaga just over her newest assignment?

"Hold on, don't get any ideas", she interrupts before one starts smelling of any controversy here, "When I say that LONDON DREAMS is my first Bollywood movie, that's because the entire setup of Hindi version of GHAJINI wasn't anything different from the one that I had already done in South. Whether it was the director or the cinematographer or other crew members, everyone was just the same."

She goes on to narrate hard facts to substantiate her claim.

"Everyone with whom I worked in GHAJINI was from South. The Producer was a Telugu guy while the cameraman was a Malayali. The only difference was that I was mouthing my dialogues in Hindi even though the film was 90% South Indian in spirit, execution and presentation. The atmosphere that prevailed on the sets was just like any other South film that I had done over the years. All this while, I was craving to be a part of a core Bollywood setup. This is why LONDON DREAMS is so close to me as I could finally sink my teeth into something different. So now you get it that why I consider LONDON DREAMS as my first Bollywood movie, right", she questions mischievously.

From South to hardcore Bollywood cinema, Asin didn't have to struggle when it comes to adapting to a new setup.

"No, it didn't take me much time for that", she is quick to respond, "More so because both as a person and an actor, I am quite flexible. Due to this there wasn't any major change process that I had to be a part of."
