That was such a beautiful write-up, Sarah. A complete treat to read! I enjoyed today's PriDa scenes ... hate-to-love relationships have always been my favourite kind and even though I'm not a huge fan of this show, I do follow the written updates and catch an episode here and there to keep up with the plot. I'm glad that PriDa's relationship has progressed to the next level - as Damini admitted herself, they share more than a professional relationship ... and always have.

If I'm being honest, then I wouldn't have given LNMDJ a second glance had I not been pulled in by the spunk Gaurav and Chandana showed as PriDa in the promos..😊 Both of them and their battle of wits/sexes kinda story just got me hooked..And like you, I too have a thing for hate-to-love stories, there are just so many sparks there..But the reason I watch this show is these two actors, their battle-of-wits/hate-to-love arc, and their chemistry..

@ bold: Ah, you like such love stories too? There's something just so undeniably attractive about the concept, isn't it? It's why I'm here discussing the couple in spite of not being much of a fan ... lol

The PriDa marriage track has decent potential and I wonder what's next in store for these two. I mean on most shows, the hate-to-love couple gets married before they're in love and fall for each other afterward. Or, they fall in love before getting married but never get together because one misunderstanding or the other keeps them apart. If PriDa get married without any issues, it would be a surprise indeed!

I am hoping against hope that these two won't get married, I am kind of against that idea..😊 But I think the show is headed in that direction, and if that happens, I believe these two can make it work..So, will take the wedding track for them..:-)

I think it'll play out like this..They will agree to get married, he will think he is doing it for revenge, when in his heart of hearts, that's the very thing he desires most..😆 She'll agree out of love..But on the day of their marriage or something she'll get to know about his hidden agenda, will still go with the wedding, but hate him..And then their story will follow, the two of them back to square one, and starting from scratch...

Filmy, I know..I just repeated what all of us have discussed about the marriage track so far, and out of the the various possibilities, this one seems the most likely.😊

Hope I didn't freak you out with the discussion, considering you are not a regular, and I have no idea if you're familiar with PriDa's story so far or not..

P.S: They may surprise us by showing Prithvi saying 'no' to the marriage..Now that would be awesome..

@ sarahkins..and sarah...well i too think that we might get surprised by prithvi's NO and damini's YES! now wouldn't that be a total eye opener!!! lol imagine....damini agreeing to the marriage but prithvi not agreeing because he doesn't want to make a joke out of the institution of marriage and the relationship that a husband and wife hold. he certainly has aspirations about his wedding and his wife...but he doesn't want to hurt damini by his so called plan( in his heart he really wants to get married to her asap 😉 caz he L.O.V.E.S her 😉 😆😆)
who knows...i'm ready to take in any thing that the show throws to me right now....lol these two are truly the most different and unpredictable couple of all times! there has never been a love story as profound and sizlling as prida's...is it now???😉

@ Sarah - LOL no, you didn't freak me out. I am familiar with their story in a nutshell ... but not exactly on a scene by scene basis. And even if I wasn't, I wouldn't have minded your discussion/analysis at all. 😊

Just curious ... why are you against the marriage idea? Don't you think it's better than them getting together now and splitting up after the truth comes out? If they're married, it'll be harder for them to end their relationship in a heartbeat.

Oooh, I love the marriage scenario you mentioned. PriDa going back to square one this time as a married couple, knowing fully well what they're getting into ... then fighting their feelings and denying the attraction because neither one wants to invest emotionally in this 'relationship'. Not a bad idea!

@ Krupur1103 - I agree with you and Sarah about Prithvi saying no to the marriage. It seems like a possibility at this point because Prithvi is more morally inclined than say, Sameer or Inder. Still, I'd prefer a marriage ... whether it's out of convenience, revenge or love. 😉

well in one way it seems as if marriage will tie them both together for life.....legally as well as emotionally...they will get an official name....Mr.and Mrs. Saxena...lol...prithvi saxena and damini gujral saxena.
However, the reason why sarah and I have been reluctant to accepting this marriage track right now is due to the fact that prithvi is not the kind of person who will jump in to marriage so hastily for the sake of revenge and hurting the very woman he loves and if he continues to follow sam's plan and agree to wedding then that will mean death of his character...that is not prithvi according to me. but i think what sarah described happens...then it seems justifiable.
anyhow i really don't care now whether they carry on with marriage or not...my only demand is more of prida ..more of what we saw today....i don't want prida to be morphed in to characters that they really aren't....you see i want them to retain their originality along with their union.
i hope i didn't offend anyone 😕

@ the parts in bold: Those are some pretty good points and I can understand why you and Sarah wouldn't want Prithvi to jump into marriage. I hope the writers will find a way to get them married without changing their characters drastically. Or even if they don't get married, hopefully there's a good track ahead for them.

Because when he draped the dupatta over her, he was telling her that she was his – to cherish, to protect, to love.
Because her heart fluttered at his touch.

It was magical

Because of the awareness they shared
Because of the current that ran through them.

Because his wound hurt her, his pain was hers,
Because they were so comfortable with each other, yet so uncomfortable.

Because of the things unsaid between them,

When he said, "ma'am" he wished he could call her anything but;
When she said, "Damini is fine..." she meant I hate you calling me ma'am

When he said he couldn't keep profession and personal separate, he meant he shouldn't, but he cared
When she said it wasn't always good, she meant it scares the hell out of me;

Because of the things which was said…

When he said he couldn't help it – he meant it
When she wanted to know how much he cared – she really wanted to know

When he said that he cared a lot more than he had bargained for, she panicked
Maybe all this was too much to take for this tough woman who just melted under his gaze

… and because of the things which dawned on them…

She understood that the thin line between professional and personal had long ago disappeared
She knew that nothing had ever been professional between them
He had started to hate himself for trying to hurt her,
He knew he could no longer try and use her

It's magical

Because it's Prithvi and Damini

It's magical

Because it's love.
