It was 40F degrees outside, with a windchill. Thats 4 degrees Celsius. We stood outside at 9 at night and lit sparklers. It was not the festivities that we had in India - but it made me feel warm and fuzzy like a child.

In any case, I feel the same and I will go back next year during Diwali.

My cousins have been egging us to come back home for Diwali. We used to all get together for bhai dooj every year and celebrate as a family. Hope to make it back, I miss it. 😊
