Prithvi to turn psycho in Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai

Amit Tandon's stint in the Balaji saga Kaisa Ye Pyar Hai may soon come to an end. Amit's character Prithvi will be declared the psychotic killer of Josh (Chetan Hansraj) and will be packed off to a mental asylum. That will mark the end of the character etched so far by the Indian Idol finalist, clearing the way for him to take up other roles.

The Kaisa Ye.... track will move somewhat on these lines....Angad will realise Kripa's love for him, and he comes to know that she married Prithvi to save Angad's family. Angad will surrender to the police for murdering Josh (Chetan Hansraj) in spite of knowing that the crime had been committed by Prithvi. Later, in the story, Kripa comes to know that the actual culprit is Prithvi. That's the point when Prithvi will be declared a psycho and sent to the mental asylum.

Says Amit, "My contract with Sony Television is about to be over in a short while but maybe in the near future, I will make a re- entry in the Kaisa…plot. It is not possible for me to handle three big shows at the same time. I will be playing Karan's (Hiten Tejwani's) son Eklavya in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahui Thi very shortly (presumably after the 20 year leap in April). This is going to be one of the leads and it's going to be great working with such big actors. Then there is Krimson Skies in the pipeline in which again, I play one of the leads and might even sing it's title song."
