Why did Sekhar suddenly turn So Hopeless?And Loha?

As far as I think it takes time for seeds to sprout............. why did Sekhar suddenly decide and Declare that "Hum aab sey Ameer Baap ki Bekaar aulad ho kaar nahiin jiyengey"..?? What happened suddenly.....haan????????????????

no it actually doesn't take that much time for seeds to sprout, and once Laali was able to convince him he readily agreed to not sell the land.

It's true that it was in Loha's interest to not sell that land, but I think he wanted Laali to help him make the decision. And they did not need to sell this land, it's just that Ranvijay want's to make a lot of profit out of it, without anyone else knowing.

I've not seen the episode yet (we're behind India by a week) , but will base my thoughts on the written updates.

The land belongs to Shekhar so decision on the land must be made by Shekar, be it a good decision or a bad one. From what i have observed and read, I think Loha wants to shake Shekar out of his apathy. Note how he observes the way Shekhar decides on things. Loha probably wants Shekhar to be more forceful and dynamic and to take the reins into his hand. He obviously cares for Shekhar, more than for Ranvijya,i believe, (notwithstanding the fact that he had given poison to Shekhar - if at all it was poison in the first place).

Deep in his heart, Loha roots for Shekhar, note:

1. Waaris issue - insisting that Shekhar be the one to provide the waaris (true the horoscope has deemed Shekhar to be the one with a male heir). Now, Loha being Loha, could have got both sons to work on this - what does it matter who gets as long as he gets an heir. But, NO! he is putting all his effort into Shekhar although Ranvijay has shamelessly offered to work hard at this.

2. Kabbadi - he very obviously rooted for Shekhar.

3. All the shooting incidences - i think he was just trying to get Shekhar's reaction, to force him into making decisions instead of sitting in the sideline, playing his flute, painting and flying kites and letting life go by.

Going out on a limb, i would say that Loha loves Shekhar very much and wants Shekhar to eventually take over the reins of the Thakur household.

I totally agree with all your points, Loha has a lot of affection for Shekhar and wants him to succeed in life. And I thhink he very well knows that it will be Laali, who will support him throughout.
but the question is why doesn't he have the same affection for Ranvijay?😕 something that's hidden from us??

Ranvijay, for all his bluster, is a weakling and a fool. He resorts to cheap trickery and lowly deeds to win or score a point. He does not have inner strength like Shekhar. He is unable to stand up to Loha the way Shekhar does. Look at how Loha could beat him up with a stick (perhaps it was a comic relief for the viewers 😆 ) and he just took the beating, twisting, turning and screaming. Shekhar would have probably just stood there stoicly and accepted the beating or more likely would have caught hold of the stick and stared the father down. Loha probably does not respect Ranvijay because he sees the weakness in him.

Shekhar thinks he is not strong - but he is by far the stronger person. He is the only one who stood up to Loha without backing down. 👏

Shekhar is far more stronger than Ranvijay but he doesn't realize it, and now it's Laali job to help him realize this, and make him mentally stronger.
