Surveen Chawla has always played positive roles on TV. However, now Kasak of Kasauti Zindagi Kay is all geared up for a makeover of sorts.Surveen, who is scheduled to play the lead role in Balaji's Krimson Skies says that she is eagerly awaiting the shoot to commence. Apparently, this Chandigarh lass's character in the show has ample shades of grey. "It'll be more stylish than vampish," laughs Surveen. The actress says that she is aware of the actresses who've played vamps on television and will not do anything to make her character look repetitive.
She further adds, "I've just been briefed about my role in Krimson Skies but we still have to sit together and work out various aspects of it."
Who according to her is the most stylish negative character on screen? "Amongst men it has to be Chetan in Kahanii Ghar Ghar Kii. Among women Urvashi Dholakia as Komolika is the only name that comes to my mind," says Surveen.
Talking about her character she says, "My character in the show is called Girishma. She is flamboyant but not in- your-face. She is the anti-heroine of the show. I'm really excited about playing Girishma and the show as well."
What makes it even more interesting is that she will essay a role which is completely opposite to her real persona. According to her co-stars and colleagues Surveen is a loner and generally keeps to herself.
