Arya Gore talks about Bairi Piya

After playing the challenging role of a handicapped girl in Uttaran, Arya Gore will now appear in Ekta Kapoor's new show Bairi Piya, as a girl named Tani from a poor family. Arya has also done roles in Balika Vadhu and Kasauti Zindagi Ke.

She says, "I feel good to be a part of this show and am enjoying shooting for it. We have worked in real farms and also shot in Film City in Mumbai. I have learnt about farms and farmers in my books, but this is the first time I got to see them."

The eight-year-old goes to Nalanda School, and has taken permission to take leave and go for the shoot. "My mother is an advocate and a professor at Nalanda College, so she has told my principal that I need to shoot outdoors at least 10 days and will not be able to attend school. He agreed to it."

Arya says she enjoys the shooting and her studies equally. "On the sets, everyone is nice,
especially Supriya didi. I go to the sets with my books, give my shot, and then study whenever I can," she says. "We do masti on the sets with Supriya didi, Kaumudi tai, who is Amoli's best friend on the show, and a boy who plays her brother. My nanaji comes with me for a shoot, and whenever my mama is free, she comes with me."
